We had a delightful afternoon tea with a variety of sandwiches and cakes. For a party of six plus two children it would have been good to have had a round table.

Fantastic setting and beautiful building. Staff attitude full and unfriendly. I was made to feel guilty when requesting a gluten free afternoon tea ; the waitress comment 'well everyone will have to wait and chef will have to start again' 'you should have told us before' - I had advised before and the hotel had got it wrong but I didn't fancy arguing in front of the family. We ordered drinks first, the pits of tea came immediately and the coffees were totally forgotten arriving twenty minutes later when prompted and then were wrong. The whole experience although pricey was 'sloppy'. Food very good and well presented but it felt more like eating at Tesco cafe rather than a special birthday treat. In summary, a fantastic setting, staff and service cold and lacking.

It was a lovely day and the gardens are a beautiful place to sit. We very much enjoyed the cheese and onion wrap and the chocolate mouse on the afternoon tea platter.

This was a early Mother's Day treat and was perfect. We did not feel rushed at all and the service we received was exemplary. My mother really enjoyed her afternoon tea in beautiful luxury surroundings. Thank you

Beautiful Afternoon Tea discrete but attentive staff, and no fuss made when my 6 year old Granddaughter knocked her drink over. I would definitely go back, and recommend to friends.

We had a lovely afternoon, could have had a few more sandwiches and not so much cake.

As this was a Birthday surprise (Pat) and my first experience of an Afternoon Tea it was a very pleasant experience . The venue Oakley Hall was very welcoming, comfortable and the service was attentive. I would definitely like to return.
