Restaurant description
Created by passionate Sicilian chefs, Nonna’s Kitchen Hoddesdon serves fresh and rustic Italian food. With fresh bread and pasta created from Sicilian flour, the emphasis is on authenticity, from the food to the décor.
Traditional stone-baked pizzas are a firm favourite on the Nonna’s Kitchen menu. Try the Contadina, topped with fresh pecorino cheese, Italian sausage and sun-dried tomato pesto, or treat yourself to a sweet pizza topped with hazelnut chocolate spread. Fresh pasta is homemade every day and served in exciting dishes including spaghetti with clams in white wine sauce, and cannelloni with ricotta and spinach. Tempting meat and fish dishes also feature, with grilled salmon with cream and paprika sauce, and grilled steaks with Portobello mushrooms amongst the options.
For dessert there are countless flavours of homemade ice cream to choose from, as well as Sicilian cakes and rich tiramisu. Informal and welcoming, the white walls at Nonna’s Kitchen are embellished with black and white prints, creating a laid-back but sophisticated setting.
In the centre of the town, Nonna’s Kitchen Hoddesdon is a 5-minute drive from Broxbourne Train Station.

Great food, service was a bit slow, but I think that's because they were so busy with the goverment incentive. The restaurant is large with a good friendly vibe to it. The prawns were gorgeous, and from looking at my kids empty plates it was a hit all round.

The food was very good in a simple but effective cafe more than restaurant format. Staff were friendly and not over attentive. We will go back as the food is far better than the plusher, more expensive Zagsra restaurant nearby. The ice cream counter (open to passers by) was very busy with a vast array of flavour choices.

Had to leave as the table which was reserved was right next to enterance door and would have been cold. Tried to change table but staff were not interested in putting us on a different table as they said that they were really busy. Staff did not bother to get manager to try and sort out the situation. Staff were even happy to let their custom go. Will not be going back.
