Restaurant description

Blending a pioneering fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine with panache, Nobu Berkeley ST. is a member of one of the most fashionable restaurant groups on the planet. Nobu attracts a loyal crowd of well-heeled diners in pursuit of Nobu Matsuhisa’s innovative Japanese specialities.

Creating a menu with all of Nobu’s signature flair, Matsuhisa and executive chef Mark Edwards showcase the contemporary and impeccable Japanese cuisine the celebrated group is renowned for. Classic dishes include lobster tempura with yuzu truffle, and tender octopus with lemon garlic. A Japanese wood-burning oven is used to cook new menu dishes, giving diners a little something different than other Nobu venues.

Spread over 2 levels, the contemporary and sophisticated dining space at Nobu London was designed by celebrated interior designer David Collins, and the luxurious cocktail lounge bar plays host to many high-end fashion and art events. Stripped oak floorboards and modern spotlights give the restaurant an airy yet cosy ambience, while the open plan 12-seater sushi bar and Hibachi table allows for interactive dining.

Arguably the chicest restaurant in town, Nobu Berkeley ST. in Mayfair sits 3 minutes’ walk from Green Park Tube Station.

Food was amazing, although expected portion of the first course to be bigger. A bit disappointed with desert, as it had peanuts, which I don't eat, so the alternative was just 2 scoops of sorbet. I was expecting to be given another desert instead of sorbet. Overall great dining experience, amazing service.

Great dining experience ! The service was outstanding - the staff were friendly and accommodating despite me running late. The steamed Chilean sea bass was delicious . My boyfriend had a wonderful birthday here.

I visited with my daughter for an early dinner. We were placed upstairs where there is nothing significant about this room to make you feel that you are in a special restaurant as the room downstairs where we were seated another time. There was nothing special about the tacco shrimps and I hope they are replaced in the menu by something more tasty. All the other servings were excuisite. We ordered spicy tuna sushi rolls as an extra and it was fantastic. I didnt like but the icecream in the dessert but my daughter loved it all!! I will never understand why such expensive restaurants offer such cheap chopsticks.

Very good service. But I have to admit being a bit disappointed in the meal. It tasted good but seemed hastily thrown together. While I accept it was a set menu the portions were very small. I much preferred the Nobu on Park Lane All that being said I would dine there again

Nobu is a elegant and trendy restaurant ideally located in Mayfair. The dishes offered with our selected menu were excellent, mixing japonese and latino influence to the perfection. The staff was charming and helpful. The only dowside was the size of portion: very very tiny, even for a 4 dishes menu. We had to other an additonal dish to complete our menu, not to feel empty stomached when leaving, which was a bit annoying when you sign up for a specific deal.
