We had afternoon tea which was in a beautiful location by the river, but the tattiness of the place let it down, very small amount of food considering the price, plus sandwiches weren't fresh. Cakes and scones were homemade and delicious! Service was lovely but overall ambiance was poor, would not recommend and would not return.

would not dine here again - lunch booked for 1.30 just about finished before boat trip at 3.30pm View from terrace overlooking river spoilt by large boat being washed while we ate. We could not see river at all. One of my friends did not order a starter but was told a soup had been ordered for her free of charge. She was served beetroot salad which was on the bill. We also had to ask for the 20% discount available as we had booked river cruise. No apple juice left plus no strawberry icecream although that was offered by waitress who served us. Also brownie dessert should have been served with ice crean according to menu it was served with cream. I did not want to complain as this was a birthday treat for one of my friends.
