The service and food were both excellent and I would definitely be returning to dine here again

The room is a beautiful place to sit and eat and chat. Windows all along one side looking out over the garden. There were two weddings at the hotel that day. It was distracting that large members of wedding guests trouped backwards and forwards through the restaurant whilst we ate. The food was pleasant. The honeyed carrots as an extra with the main course had not been scrubbed sufficiently so little bits of grit to munch on. The service was good enough although we ate our starter and had to ask again for our drinks to be brought. Two three course meals and 2 alcoholic drinks was £90. Afternoon teas were being served as we left. They looked gorgeous. I would say that if you would like an above average location for your meal were you will also have trouble free parking and the food is pleasant but incidental to meeting and chatting with friends then this is for you. If you like to be impressed with your food, then maybe not so.

Food was excellent. Really well cooked and beutifully presented. Not too much to eat but enough to have three courses. Waiters were attentive and service was great, being polite and prompt. Lovely surroundings. The only downside was that we were the only diners so not exactly atmospheric.

We enjoyed our 3 course meal at Neeedham House very much. However a large number of people came into the restaurant with their meals and the volume of noise was very bad for about 35 minutes. We couldn't hear a conversation among ourselves.

Ok as had a Groupon voucher for a meal for 2 with ‘fizz’ which turned out to be prosecco. Certainly wasn’t worth the amount it would have cost if we had paid for exactly the same food in full. Restaurant was unpleasantly hot as air con didn’t appear to work and whilst it looked nice, it was almost empty at a Sunday lunchtime however I had tried to change our table to 4 online and it said no spaces were available and when I phoned, no-one answered the day before so couldn’t bring our children. Food order was wrong and menu wasn’t particularly exciting. Staff whilst nice didn’t seem to know much. I think everyone in there except one table were groupon customers.

Afternoon tea with generous servings of sandwiches and scones, meaning that we were too full to finish our cakes. Good selection of teas and coffees too. We were seated in a quiet area away from the main dining room, which was really nice, but we did feel a bit ignored by service staff as a result.
