A chic dining space inside the Hilton Garden Inn Aberdeen City Centre, Native showcases the finest seasonal produce from local suppliers. Premium Scottish steaks, game and seafood are paired with a fine wine selection, all in contemporary surroundings.

The Native menu mixes traditional recipes with inventive flourishes. To start, there is pickled golden beetroot with goat cheese panna cotta and a Bloody Mary sorbet, as well as pressed rabbit and wild mushroom terrine with kumquat and chilli chutney and herb salad. From the grill, there are 28-day aged steaks, lamb cutlets, and tuna steak with caper and tomato salsa. Scottish staples can be found in recipes like breast of chicken stuffed with haggis, and there are vegetarian delicacies like chargrilled aubergine with ratatouille vegetable, tomato coulis and glazed halloumi.

Irresistible desserts at Native in Aberdeen include pistachio soufflé with morello cherry sorbet, toffee delice with coconut and avocado ice cream, as well as a selection of fine cheeses with signature chutney. The wine selection served is also extensive, and includes vintages from around the world.

    Fantastic meal, couldn't fault it and I am not easy to please!!! Our waitress Vicki was brilliant, plenty of personality and customer care was first class.
