Breeze into the airy and well-lit Myrtle restaurant in Chelsea and sample European cuisine with hints of Irish influence by head chef Anna Haugh. Myrtle is Haugh’s first solo venture after almost 20 years of cooking experience, with 14 years under star-studded chefs including Gordon Ramsay and Philip Howard. The eatery elegantly serves up fresh seafood and locally sourced meats while pouring from an extensive wine list.
The Myrtle menu boasts unique dishes plated simply but beautifully showcasing the robust flavours. Slice into the succulent oat-crusted hake with a mussel chowder and Irish pomme puree or indulge in the buttermilk panna cotta served with rhubarb jelly and cinnamon doughnuts to finish.
The bright Myrtle Chelsea space is filled with skylights, pendant lamps and pops of colour, making for a lovely daytime grazing spot. Blues and greens leave diners feeling calm as they tuck into meals served on the same pastel-coloured plates.

An excellent restaurant with fabulous food. The greeting on arrival makes you feel at ease and the inside is charming - lovely tables giving a romantic feel to things.

Lovely little restaurant, small and simple menu nicely executed and attentive service. The shaved cauliflower and cheese salad with crispy lamb sweetbreads was a particular stand out dish. The desserts were a bit of a let down, savouries are definitely the main focus here.

Small welcoming restaurant in such a lovely area. I loved the carrot salad (lovely flavours) & my dessert of mango panna cotta (mild & smooth-no sharp aftertaste) with doughnuts was delicious, as was everything in between. Would love to go back & try some more.

An absolute must! Excetioal food, great wine list and friendly efficient staff. I would recommend it without hesitation and we have already reserved our return.

Absolutely awesome. An original and totally authentic experience. This restaurant isn’t about hype or internet presence; it’s about excellent and well made Irish influenced food! The wine list is short but very well put together as well. There can be no friendlier and intimate place to break (treacle infused soda) bread than Myrtle. A joy!
