It was really lovely, very nice ambiance, lovely food and super friendly staff, I really recommand it! And unlike most of the restaurants in London, the music wasn't crazy loud and it was really nice!

From husband and wife restaurateurs Lawrence and Emily Hartley, Le Petit Citron is a delightful French bistro serving Provençal-style cooking in the heart of leafy Brook Green in Hammersmith. Simple, authentic flavours from this much-loved French region are complemented by an impressive wine selection and a list of classic French cocktails.

The Le Petit Citron menu is inspired by life in Provence, and include entrées such as petit pot de girolles and woodland mushrooms, Coquilles Saint-Jacques with pomme purée and vermouth, and Rustic Mediterranean fish soup with gruyère and rouille. Mains include crowd pleasers like onglet steak frites with a pastis, garlic and herb butter; lemon and garlic poussin with French beans, persillade and pine nuts; and aubergine, red pepper, lentil and walnut ragout.

Weekends at Le Petit Citron are just as exciting. The brunch menu includes freshly baked pastries and preserves, as well as comforting dishes of Les Gauffres with maple syrup and cinnamon sugar. An informal space where guests can come for everything from quick midweek lunches to relaxed dinners and leisurely weekend brunch, Le Petit Citron is a true neighbourhood restaurant.

Le Petit Citron is a 10-minute walk from Hammersmith Station, a 10-minute walk from Shepherds Bush Station, and a 5-minute walk from Goldhawk Road Station.

The staff is friendly, the food is superb. The confit duck leg is excellent. I refuse to share the pain perdu (dessert) with my girlfriend. We love pretty much everything about this restaurant and we've been here more than once.

I had a lovely dinner here with my husband. The staff were all charming and attentive and the food is very tasty. Quite traditional wholesome french food. I had the chicken parfait followed by the poussin which was not at all dry, falling off the bone with lovely lemony garlic sauce. My husband said the steak was melt in the mouth soft and absolutely delicious. I also think the restaurant itself is a lovely space and beautifully decorated. It’s a 10 out of ten from me!

Food was excellent Onglet Steak cooked to perfection. Fish soup and scallops also really good.Wine list short but excellent. Bruno Sorg Cremant d'Alsace really lovely.
Service was ok but it did all saeem a little frantic at times and it was a shame my soup was brought to the table and then a minute later removed as the 2 other dishes for my guests were not ready. Not sure saying 'dont worry we'll warm it up again' was quite the best thing to say, BUT it was all lovely so there we go.
I left the full discretionary tip of 12.5% as per the bottom of the bill and wished afterwards I had left a cash amount. I should have deducted something for the soup being brought early but the food was good and therefore tip warranted.

This is an excellent restaurant serving high-quality, traditional French food at very reasonable prices. The space and decor are lovely and the service was also excellent. I have recommended it to a lot of my local friends and am already booked to go back.
