My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Halloween cakes and pumpkin ?? scones. The staff were very friendly and kept refreshing the teapot along with the bubbles ??. The dining area overlooking the garden and river offers a nice airy space especially on a sunny day.

Inside the majestic 18th century 4-star Oatlands Park Hotel in Surrey, the Mulberry Restaurant offers an innovative British menu with modern European flourishes, set in 10 acres of magnificent gardens and parkland.

Carefully selected seasonal ingredients are used to prepare the Mulberry Restaurant menu, with classic dishes like French onion soup with Gruyere croutons and rump of lamb with crushed new potatoes, French beans and red wine jus. Vegetarian recipes include garden pea and asparagus risotto with parmesan shavings, while desserts get creative with bold flavours, as seen with the lime and passion fruit financier served with caramelised pineapple and coconut sorbet.

Afternoon tea at Mulberry Restaurant Weybridge serves up a selection of skilfully prepared sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and delicious pastries and cakes. Enjoy on the stunning lawn terrace in the warmer months. There is also a relaxed lounge bar for a casual drink or some lighter bites.

With a popular Sunday carvery with a live jazz trio also on offer, the Mulberry Restaurant is only 5 minutes' drive from Weybridge Rail Station.

Had a table for 9 people at the Sunday Carvery, everyone agreed the food quality was fantastic, But as always with the this hotel the staff need to be better trained. A very enjoyable experience none the less.

Food was excellent Service very good.however if we brought the family would be concerned that there was no vegetarian option.
Also would have liked coffee even if it meant going into another room for it.

We booked dinner for our first wedding anniversary as we had celebrated a lovely wedding lunch in the restaurant 12 months earlier. The room is beautiful and we received very good service. However, I ordered the beef carpaccio to start which unfortunately was inedible. I couldn't cut it, let alone chew it. It was sent back and replaced with a different choice, all dealt with perfectly by the staff. The rest of the meal was very good, and when I ordered the cheese with a glass of dessert wine, the Maitre D informed me the wine was on the house, which was much appreciated. We finished with coffees and then requested the bill. The waiter had kindly put a line through the service charge, which again was appreciated. However, I had been charged for my original starter which was more expensive than the replacement, and we were charged for the coffees, which should have been complimentary if ordering three courses. I declined to raise this with the staff because we had received good service, but I would have preferred to be charged correctly and was more than willing to pay a service charge for the excellent service. In the end, it left a bit of a bad taste, but I would still recommend the restaurant and will return.

Setting for lunch was ideal, relaxed and excellent service from all the staff..the jazz band adding to the perfect ambience. The food was superb, we loved the selection of seafood, along with the poached Salmon, devilled eggs, charcuterie, capers, salad and fresh rolls..yummy. We opted for the beef which was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth, side dishes were just as good..we all loved the Yorkshire puddings and flavoursome gravy. A down side to our experience was the selection of puddings remaining at the end of our dining experience. This was due to timing. I booked the table for my party for 2 pm, thinking we would have plenty of time to taste all that was on offer. It was only when we had started our meal that we were advised the food would be cleared away by 3. I feel this should have been explained to me when the booking was made. My family like to savour their food. I asked if there was any more rhubarb crumble left in the kitchen, we were advised there wasn’t. We did have some desert, however not what we would have liked. Overall, we had a really enjoyable afternoon and look forward to seeing the completion of the refurbishments. Hopefully changes will be made to the online booking form to ensure other customers are not disappointed.
