Super lovely service, yummy ham rolls and salmon sarnies esp.
As I have a savoury preference, I would have liked more sandwiches to cakes ratio would be only ‘negative’ feedback. A lovely afternoon with generous champagne ????

Inside the majestic 18th century 4-star Oatlands Park Hotel in Surrey, the Mulberry Restaurant offers an innovative British menu with modern European flourishes, set in 10 acres of magnificent gardens and parkland.

Carefully selected seasonal ingredients are used to prepare the Mulberry Restaurant menu, with classic dishes like French onion soup with Gruyere croutons and rump of lamb with crushed new potatoes, French beans and red wine jus. Vegetarian recipes include garden pea and asparagus risotto with parmesan shavings, while desserts get creative with bold flavours, as seen with the lime and passion fruit financier served with caramelised pineapple and coconut sorbet.

Afternoon tea at Mulberry Restaurant Weybridge serves up a selection of skilfully prepared sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and delicious pastries and cakes. Enjoy on the stunning lawn terrace in the warmer months. There is also a relaxed lounge bar for a casual drink or some lighter bites.

With a popular Sunday carvery with a live jazz trio also on offer, the Mulberry Restaurant is only 5 minutes' drive from Weybridge Rail Station.

It was great - the food was first class, the jazz band was lovely in the background and the Happy Birthdays they played including mine were wonderful and a real treat, the ambience and the waiter Ricard made it with the attentive, caring way he and 2 others were towards our table. A memorable birthday for which I thank you.

I booked a family lunch to celebrate my mother’s 96th birthday. We had eaten here once before, on her 93rd birthday, when we came to the Sunday carvery & enjoyed it very much. However, my husband had been unable to attend on that occasion, due to illness, & I wanted him to see Oatlands Park. I booked easily for 1.30pm on 21st December & let the restaurant know that my mother was in a wheelchair & might only want 2 small courses, whilst my sister-in-law has severe dietary intolerances & might bring her own food. The remaining 3 diners were booked for a possible 3 course festive meal. We were surprised on arrival to find the restaurant almost empty, which marred the experience a little. There was a large party celebrating a 70th birthday in a private room on the way in. However, we were shown to a nice table with views & ordered drinks. We settled in with cloakroom visits but it was a short while before our order was taken. Staff were aware of my comments on booking, so my sister-in-law was able to eat her own food without question. The meals arrived quite promptly, & further requests for sauces were dealt with efficiently. After the meal we ordered coffee, when one cup didn’t match the others, due to them running out, it seemed, although I wasn’t bothered by that. When it came to the bill, my brother & I had to approach the desk, as there was no mobile electronic device for cards, but again, this wasn’t arduous. I hadn’t been expecting the 12.5% service charge, although aware of it in other restaurants, but this saved working out a tip! The food was adequate, with plenty of meat, but the vegetables with my mother’s duck confit were rather boring - green cabbage & roast potatoes. Red cabbage might’ve been nicer. I gave her a parsnip & carrot from my plate. The sprouts on the turkey dinner were inedible bullets. The 3 different wines were good, but overpriced, & no smaller glass than 175ml was available. Coffee was good, but a cafetiere would've been better.

Excellent Sunday carvery with good selection of fish, salad, meat and vegetables. Also jazz trio to add to this delightful Sunday lunch with friends.

good feature is dining room itself. Food quality adequate but not great. very limited starters and sweets. Worst feature was service levels, no pulling out chair for my wife, having to ask for how to obtain food, not offered soft drinks with lunch (knew we had to pay extra) no for me to carry my meal back to table (as I limp badly) plenty of staff but not service orientated (stood around mainly) incredibly noisy room, could not speak to each other because of band and noise. Reminded when I went to pay on way out (no mobile card machine) that the bill did not include a service and how much they would appreciate one!
