Three, five and eight-course tasting menus allow diners to experience the full range of flavours on offer.

Difficult to find words to describe how good the meal was. It was a special occasion of special food. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhhhh etc. Service was excellent. Wines well matched. The dining room was bright and clean and roomy. Chef probably not good at maths, as our 8 course taster probably totalled 15 course by the time they added the additional canapes and tasters etc. Not complaining! Wonderful meal. So many tastes and textures

Gorgeous decor, on arrival everything was immaculate, beautiful and the staff were instantly on hand without being in your face. We were taken to the bar waiting area where we chose pre dinner cocktails, ate snacks and chatted in our gorgeous surroundings. We then got taken to our table and talked through our beautiful meal in a really relaxed way which ensured we didn't feel pressured or rushed. The sommelier for the wine pairing was a fantastic french gentleman. At the end of our meal we declined the cheese room and they ordered a taxi which came instantly.

All in all a gorgeous date night for our anniversary dinner.

Warm welcome as soon as we arrived, staff were friendly and attentive. The sommelier recommended a red wine which was perfect. My dietary requirements (dairy free) were catered for. The food was delicious as well as beautifully presented. My partner particularly liked the cheese room. The hall itself is situated in lovely grounds. We will be returning.

This was by far the best meal and experience we have ever had. I’ve just read with my jaw dropping at some negative reviews on here. Clearly by unpleasant (some staff descriptions by a couple of reviewers are bordering on hate filled) people with opinions that are worth nothing. Ignore them. This is the best place I’ve ever ate.
The staff are fabulous with the right balance of friendly and knowledgeable. The food was perfect. I’d be stunned if anyone genuinely did not enjoy it: from the tasters in the bar area to the food to the treats with coffee EVERYTHING was beautiful.
The cocktails were delicious and the wine was fabulous. The coffee was even better than any I’ve ever had!
We were invited to the kitchen and the owner/head chef wandered about afterwards. It is definitely part of a Michelin (2 star!!) experience and just added to leaving us feeling like every penny spent was well worth it.
We will definitely be going back. I just wish it was closer to home.
    Cannot recommend enough.

All accolades are well deserved for Moor Hall. The food is exceptional - a delight for all senses! The staff are fantastic, the rooms luxurious & the grounds beautiful. We had a magical first anniversary experience - from the delicious cocktails (highly recommend the pink lady) the gorgeous sunny afternoon ambling around the gardens to the abundance of flavours textures and aromas that we thoroughly enjoyed that evening - we cannot fault a thing. The black pudding dish that evening and the actual black pudding the following morning are particular notable as well as the baked carrot, turnip & crab and holstein friesian tartare. To be honest, it was all pretty notable. The ambience is perfect - we had a lovely romantic stay. We would also recommend the wine pairing experience - this food deserves the expert's choice in wines!!
