Wonderful experience from start to finish. Greeted at the door. Never ending delicious food. Excellent sommelier recommendation for wine. First class service. Lovely touch being able to see the kitchen and meet Mark Birchall afterwards. Will definitely return and would love to stay over next time.

This was a fantastic meal. All the food was great but the desserts were exceptional.
The service was friendly and warm but very professional and slick (very impressive)
Location and lounge areas are lovely.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well.

We had a very nice aperitif with some nibbles in the bar and then we were shown to our table

We'd opted for the 8 course taster menu. I had a vegan option,

I was very pleasantly surprised to find a Michelin starred restaurant that would cater for a vegan, especially 5 minutes from where I live.

The food was truly amazing. I'm not used to fine dining, so I wasn't prepared for the wonderful dishes that kept appearing at our table.

I was worried that I would be hungry with the portion sizes but by the end of the savoury dishes, I was really full but once the sweet dishes were served, I got a second breath and was able to finish them all (just).

There wasn't anything I didn't enjoy in the food. It's astonishing what a skilful group of chefs can do with just vegetables.

My wife felt the same way about the non-Vegan option. the only thing she didn't like were the scallops but she doesn't like scallops regardless of how they were cooked

The wines picked out for us complemented the food and the sommelier was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

The rest of the staff were also extremely helpful and friendly too, explaining what was in each dish and how the food had been cooked.

We arrived at 18:30 and we finished the meal at around 22:00. I had a very intense espresso and we were finished.

It was a perfect dining experience and we'll definitely be going back again

We absolutely loved it!! The service was excellent, the surroundings elegant but not too ‘posh’ which made for a comfortable evening. There were loads of staff and all delightful. Couldn’t fault the food and wine pairing. 8 course taster menu but lots of
extra surprises. We arrived at 7.30 and didn’t leave until 11.45!! We chose to visit the cheese room which was fantastic and my husband was given 3 drinks to taste to get the right one to accompany it which was over and above what we expected. The only small grumble would be that we were offered a glass of champagne on arrival which we accepted thinking it was part of the deal. We obviously paid for it when given the bill but would have preferred to have been offered a drink as I would have definitely have chosen a gin and tonic rather than the champagne but was not given the choice. The surroundings for this first drink was also very plain, dull and uninspiring , rather stiff, compared to the restaurant which was buzzing. Maybe some background music might help. All in all though, a wonderful and memorable experience. We will be back!!

A fantastic culinary experience. Our party of 4 enjoyed the full 10 course tasting menu and associated wine flight. Although it was more like 13 courses when you add in the 3 amuse bouche. Exceptional and unique dishes with highly attentive, but not too intrusive, service. The sommelier was interesting and knowledgable and his choices of wine were unusual and suited the different courses perfectly. Additionally the restaurant contacted us prior to our reservation to ensure all our dietary needs were met. This was really useful as we had a couple of people with shellfish allergies and they adjusted the dishes accordingly. Outstanding!

Favourite dishes were the turbot main and apple dessert.
Lovely room and view; however did get very warm with low winter sun.
A birthday card and extra dessert was provided for my partner which was a nice touch.

Moor Hall never fails to impress , from the moment you arrive the staff are professional , attentive and knowledgable , everything from the surroundings , drinks and decor oozes class, the food is exceptional, every dish provides a new experience and a myriad of flavours and beautifully prepared ingredients, presented in a way which makes you wish you did not have to spoil it by eating it, an amazing selection of wines from a superb Sommelier and the Cheese Room is something to behold, I cannot pinpoint one dish, as they are all stunning, although the Duck Ragu is simply flavoursome and intensely enjoyable, leaving you wanting more. Fully deserving of 2 Michelin Stars, stunning.
