It is very expensive! The pork belly didnt have much meat on it and there was no veg at all really, just a plate of fat. Kids food was great and great selection. Great service! Wine was moved happily to the lounge and topped up!

I think with the early dinner for the kids @ 6pm the adults could have like an early supper menu? e.g. Less fancy selection of dishes as we are eating fairly quickly and going e.g. Pasta/pizza/burger/fish pie

Breakfast was excellent again great service and flexibility from staff to accommodate requests.

We visited the hotel for afternoon tea using a gift voucher. In the brief time we were there we found the relaxed ambience and friendleness of the staff very refreshing. The quality and quantity of the tea was excellent. It was a very hot day, so perhaps a slight dryness of the bread could be excused.
We would seriously consider visiting the hotel for a longer stay. .

Had a lovely birthday lunch here, with the wife and her parents.

All dishes well cooked and very tasty and on the whole the portions were resonably large, although the Sea Bass could have been bigger

3 courses with wine, tea and coffee just short of £200 so not cheap for Dorset and at that price I would have expected slightly better service, for example the teas and coffees were served before the dessert but that really was my only and minor criticism

If you want a special meal give it a try
