Very enjoyable. Our group has met at Mon Plaisir on several occasions and look forward to our return in July. Lovely meal, never rushed.

One of the oldest French restaurants in London, 2 AA Rosette award-winning Mon Plaisir on Monmouth Street has been serving delectable French cuisine for over half a century.
Decorated in French artefacts, Mon Plaisir - London resonates with a nostalgic atmosphere of decadent France throughout its 4 individual dining rooms. Mon Plaisir also features a pewter topped bar which once graced the lounge of a Lyonnaise brothel.
Mon Plaisir Covent Garden continues to serve traditional cuisine created from the finest French ingredients and carefully prepared by the restaurant’s highly skilled chefs. Signature dishes include snails in garlic and parsley butter and the fillet of sea bream with mustard sauce, exuding a real French flair. There is also a slick wine list which predominantly features fine French wines.
With its fine French food and authentic ambience, Mon Plaisir is just a 7-minute walk from Covent Garden Tube Station. Mon Plaisir has been acknowledged in fine restaurant guides, including Hardens, Square Meal, Via Michelin and The Good Food Guide.

First class in every way - service, food, atmosphere. We will be coming back again and again.

It is several years since I dined here and it was still the same lovely atmosphere and slightly quirky layout. I had asked for a quiet table and was given one at the back which was perfect. The food was delicious so I would thoroughly recommend it, so convenient for West End theatres and such a pretty little street.

the reservation worked fine, food was a little salt less, but good, only the foie gras was not nice. The drinks were good, service was excellent.

This is a favourite restaurant - good French cooking, with very friendly and efficient staff, which can be relied upon to deliver well, and for a reasonable price. There are various set menus, as well as the a la carte. The meal we had most recently was a graduation celebration dinner, and we were seated, as asked, in a quiet spot where we couldn't disturb too many other people. Even though there were nine of us, the kitchen and the waiting staff succeeded in delivering, without fuss, excellent meals, together, and in dealing with the odd extra request. Highly recommended.

Very good, though we weren't crazy about the very sweet meringue desert.

Excellent. Only quibble - when asked for cheese waiter said he had a blue, yellow,,goats. But, on request, he brought the wonderful cheese board.

Lovely atmosphere in this real French restaurant. We booked for two but increased to three at last minute. No problem! Tables pushed together additional places set.Service as always was impeccable there when needed but not constantly intruding.Food is what you would expect from a good Parisian bistro (increasingly difficult to find !!!) well cooked and great flavour balance with the accent on fresh ingredients.Nice selection of wine at reasonable prices. If you want sterile surroundings, poor service and fussy uninspiring food DONT come here ,it puts many pricier places to shame.

Escalope de veau was excellent; the scallops were not very fresh.
For some bizarre reason they have engaged the services of an accordeonist who plays French muzak - this sort of turns it into a silly tourist trap, where previously it was a normal serious French restaurant.
The staff interrupted our conversation several times.

Very nice. I went with my wife and two daughters - age six and eleven. Staff was very french in the best sense of the word. Food was good, both for us and the girls.
