I took my friend for the art afternoon tea for a special birthday treat, it was really very nice .
Weve had had quite a few afternoon teas and this was very different and enjoyable. The service was excellent.
We had a couple of gin & tonics after our tea, these were quite expensive but I suppose to be expected due to being in a West End hotel.

If you are after something a bit different to the usual afternoon tea I would recommend this venue. Staff were excellent, friendly but not intrusive. The mirror room with the flower display was impressive. Highly recommended

We had afternoon tea. The mirror room is a lovely room, comfortable if lacking a little atmosphere. Everything about it smacks of money well spent in terms of decor and accompaniments. Service is very good and attentive. There are a lot of interesting teas to sample and they are happy to let you change teas through your time there. The sandwiches were very good with free top ups. Scones were also good . Cakes were well presented and mini visual masterpieces . However they were all ( 5 to share) far too sweet for our taste. We did tell them! At £50 each plus 12.5% service charge , its pricy, especially when the glass of champagne as part of the 'deal' is only half full and it's a small ( but pretty) glass. Unfortunately not great value but that's not why you go there. You won't leave hungry. I've marked the drinks as 3 star , it would be 5 stars for the tea, but only 2 for such a small serving of champagne.
