With leather banquettes, exposed-brick walls & soft golden lighting, this steakhouse in Tamworth Lane enjoys an informal ambience.

The Miller & Carter menu is led by hand-cut, 30-day aged steaks, all carefully sourced from sustainable British & Irish farms, and expertly cooked. Favourite cuts span from a deliciously tender grass-fed Ribeye, aged for 50 days for a rich, buttery flavour, to a luxurious sharing chateaubriand. Other Miller & Carter signature dishes include smoky barbecue ribs with seasoned fries & dressed slaw, and a pork fillet wrapped in bacon with apple 3 ways served with dauphinoise potato, green beans and roasted Mediterranean-style vegetables.

To finish, sweet indulgences include chocolate hazelnut bomb, an indulgent, rich chocolate ganache encased in toasted hazelnuts and chocolate nibs, served with pecan praline ice cream and zesty orange curd. The Miller & Carter cellar is brimming with drinks designed to complement the menu, including chilled draught and bottled beers, crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list of rich reds and sparkling wines.

    waiting time was ridiculous and they ran out of the starter my husband wanted.The time waiting for the courses to be served took ages. Eventually when the mains were bought out they were barley warm. The sweet was supposed to be sticky toffee pudding which tasted more like a cheap ginger cake. Very disapointed

    Excellent service, excellent meal, visited the new premises at Bromsgrove about three weeks ago on New Years Eve and was very disappointed with the quality of the stakes, and will not be returning to the premises till they improve the restaurant . Over the many years we have visited the Solihull premises, we have always had great quality meals, and service, as we did on our last visit. The service we had from the waitress DONNA was first class, very help full. as we are OAPs we are very satisfied.

    To whom it may concern I placed a booking for my wife's fifteenth as you can see from other emails , I requested a cake , birthday bubbles and any thing special that your company could do for her , I finally got to speak to somebody on Saturday 27/1/18 to confirm all of this and they apologised and said that some body was suppose to contact me to confirm it had all been arranged but I never had this call or even email to confirm I actually tried ringing your company at least 30 times with no avail through the week , so I was very disappointed with your sales service and customer care , when we turned up for our meal the guy I think was the manager asked me if it was the celebration that he could see on he's computer and I informed him it was thinking great it's all ok now and all had been sorted . We were given a buzzer to let us know when our table would be ready me thinking to my wisdom that all was being sorted !!! We got shown to our very average table with no frills or any balloons etc so I thought ok let's try to make the best of it now as your food and service has always been very good before , the meal came and went the girl serving us was very attentive and helpful but after starters , mains , puddings , no cake or birthday bubbles so I asked for the bill paid my bill gave the waitress a generous tip for all her hard work but left feeling very very very disappointed with your company , I would like a reply to my email please explaining why after being told this had all been sorted that my wife's night turned out to be a very disappointing evening for her on such a special occasion Many thanks rod smith

    We waited 1hr 15 mins for our food was very busy complained about how long the food was taking was informed 3 down in kitchen that is not my fault. Also restuarant was freezing did notice blow heaters scattered around but none of them were on.

    Usual great experience although too busy to be there with kids on friday night. The chateaubriand was quite disappointing would reccomend to avoid it.

    Visited frequently so knew what to expect a warm welcome. We both chose fillet steak my sister's was good but unfortunately mine was very inferior although it was cooked to spec the steak was sinewy and very chewy it looked like an end cut I was only able to eat less than half, I have had rare fillets there before and they have been exceptional. I did point out to our server that the steak was unsatisfactory but she just said she would tell him but my complaint was not addressed.

    Nothing good to say. Birthday celebration ruined when foreign object was found in meal. Fortunately no one choked and no injury was caused!

    Food great.staff great .but the cobwebs hanging of the lights put my wife off
