Restaurant was packed when we arrived but we were seated straight away and service from our waitress Claire was great all evening. As you'd expect the steaks are excellent. We had the Chateaubriand and it didn't disappoint.

With hand-picked steaks and a buzzing atmosphere, Miller & Carter presents a distinct steakhouse experience to diners in Chertsey. The appealing interior is done up in a bright shades of red and the bar is perfect to unwind with a drink.

The Miller & Carter menu is led by hand-cut, 30-day aged steaks, all carefully sourced from sustainable British & Irish farms, and expertly cooked. Favourite cuts span from a deliciously tender grain-fed sirloin, aged for 50 days for a rich, buttery flavour, to a luxurious sharing chateaubriand. Other Miller & Carter signature dishes include smoky barbecue ribs with seasoned fries & dressed slaw, and lemon & rosemary lamb rump served with dauphinoise potatoes, sautéed exotic mushrooms & tenderstem broccoli.

To finish, sweet indulgences include Miller’s chocolate orange: a shimmering golden globe with ganache and orange toffee. The Miller & Carter cellar is brimming with drinks designed to complement the menu, including chilled draught and bottled beers, crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list of rich reds and sparkling wines.

Located close to the Ottershaw roundabout, Miller & Carter Chertsey is a 6-minute drive from Foxhills Golf Course.

On arrival we were asked name of booking, then two servers had a long discussion about where to sit our group of 3 whilst ignoring us. The area we were seated in was extremely cold and the staff member immediately offered to close all the windows.
Two of us ordered the ribeye steak which was cooked as we requested, the meat was unseasoned and one in particular was full of gristle and tough and proved unpleasant to eat. I would probably not eat eat here again.

Reasonably regular diner at this steakhouse. This experience was not up to previous visits.
There was a large water-leak in the reception, with buckets under. I was forced to look at this for probably 2-3 minutes, as nobody greeted me.
Service was mixed. We were left with empty glasses etc, and had to call for service. One male waiter, although very well-meaning, was ridiculously subservient...pretty much wringing his hands and bowing as he addressed us. My guest noted that the lettuce wedge had shrunk markedly, and the waiter agreed. Two lemonades, totalling £5.25 were massively over-iced, and we were informed by the waitress that they had been told to make the drink as 60% ice...a terrible rip-off. The restaurant was cold, and as I didn't have a jumper, I was forced to eat in my jacket. There was a large birthday party at the table next to us, which became so noisy at times that we were forced to stop talking. The food, and especially the steaks, were as wonderful as ever.

Booking on site is easy, with all menu's available on line.
Some waiters/waitresses seemed to have trouble remembering what tables and what food went together.
Food is good but on the expensive side.
    Car parking is a nightmare.

Hi, I went to Miller and Carter with a friend as we have been many times before and always had great food and service. Unfortunately on our most recent visit, I asked to use a voucher code that gives you 2 glasses of wine for free, and had a code, but the waitress would not accept the code, so was very disappointed

Great food, great staff. Best steak outside Argentina!

Have enjoyed lunch on two occasions in the past and dinner last night did not disappoint. Excellent choice available from the food and drinks menus, we both had the 10oz sirloin which was to die for. The service (our waitress was Daria) was both friendly and efficient. Despite there being a large number of other dinners, we could talk comfortably throughout the evening without having to raise our voices. Great atmosphere and will go back again without hesitation.

Good clean restaurant though the toilets were looking battered and two doors had no locks. Two of us ate and enjoyed the evening. Lots of tables so hard to be private. Good service and friendly staff.
