A stylish steakhouse in the city centre, Miller & Carter Aberdeen serves succulent grill delicacies along with fine wines in a grand setting. Inside, there are high ceilings and plush red leather seats, with floor-to-ceiling windows at the front letting diners look out at the passing city bustle.
The Miller & Carter menu is led by hand-cut, 30-day aged steaks, all carefully sourced from sustainable British & Irish farms, and expertly cooked. Favourite cuts span from a deliciously tender grain-fed sirloin, aged for 50 days for a rich, buttery flavour, to a luxurious sharing chateaubriand. Other Miller & Carter signature dishes include smoky barbecue ribs with seasoned fries & dressed slaw, and lemon & rosemary lamb rump served with dauphinoise potatoes, sautéed exotic mushrooms & tenderstem broccoli.
To finish, sweet indulgences include Miller’s chocolate orange: a shimmering golden globe with ganache and orange toffee. The cellar at Miller & Carter in Aberdeen is brimming with drinks designed to complement the menu, including chilled draught and bottled beers, crafted cocktails and an impressive wine list of rich reds and sparkling wines.
Serving premium steaks and wines in a smart setting, Miller & Carter Aberdeen is a 7-minute walk from Aberdeen Rail Station.

We went on a Friday (4.45pm) and had 30 day aged sirloin and ribeye steaks. Very tasty! The beef dripping sauce and the porcelini mushroom and black garlic were favourites. The portion sizes are great and the quality. Really liked the sweet potato fries and the lettuce wedges too. We were also there on Sunday afternoon (3pm) with a bigger party who ordered the same as Friday with the addition of bistro rump steaks and the lobster and king prawn tempura which they said were beautiful. For dessert we had creme brûlée, sticky toffee pudding, fresh berries sorbet with meringue, chocolate hazelnut bomb and the lemon posset tart - amazing! Also the after eight thirty and espresso martini cocktails were an added extra to compliment the experience.
Staff were so friendly and attentive, they explained the menu and were on hand for our many questions. The atmosphere and decor are lovely any time of day, would highly recommend. Can see it being a regular place for us
Recommend booking at least a week in advance for certain days/times as they’re very busy

The meal and the relaxing environment, were excellent!. Steaks in particular, were really good. Otherwise, the booking service and friendliness of the Staff upon arrival was great. So I will for sure be returning again in the future. Regards, Charlie

As a chain restaurant, it was a very good experience, staff very friendly and efficient. Food quality was excellent for both starters and main course and the place has a good atmosphere about it as well.
It's a busy place which helps and prices are reasonable for a restaurant

I dined here on Thursday evening, our waiter Brodie was fantastic. The food was excellent, my only comment would be that I ordered a glass of wine to go with my main course from a girl but it took 15 minutes to arrive and I had already finished my steak, which was rather disappointing as I was looking forward to drink it along with my meal. The atmosphere was buzzing but I do feel the restaurant was too bright for a late evening meal, and the lights should have been dimmed slightly. But overall the food and service was phenomenal.

The restaurant was amazing and the food even better. Our waiter, Shane, was fantastic, was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and was able to make good recommendations. The staff were well turned out and very professional which I felt was in keeping with the theme of the restaurant. Except for the man that seated us (possibly a duty manager) who stood out like a sore thumb and looked totally out of place. He looked very scruffy and actually just looked like a member of the public who had wandered in off the street and started seating people! Although this didn’t affect our dining experience, it certainly had an effect on the appearance of the restaurant.

It was our first visit to Miller and Carter, and will not be our last. We had a wonderful relaxed evening. There was no pressure to leave even though the restaurant was running at full capacity. The food and the service were first class and the bell just had to be rung on a couple of occasions. Some of the best food we have eaten in a long time. Well presented and hot. There was a large variety and plenty to tempt any diner. Looking forward to our next visit.
