We have been to Michael Neave several times - when ever we go to Edinburgh - we love the food and the service - is is consistently of a high standard .

We like the menu, not one of those overly long pretentious menus. Choice is more than adequate as all dishes in the main are drawing on local produce.

Excellent from start to finish
Bar staff friendly and informative with drinks selection and advice
Food was fantastic, even for a fussy eater I had no complaints
Would definitely recommend a visit
Only small issue was the incline and my heels, but Edinburgh in general is full of hills and it was my own choice to walk

As usual, everything was perfect. The lamb dish was cooked absolutely spot on. Service at this restaurant is excellent.

My second visit and would thoroughly recommend it. I particularly like the fact that extra staff appear from nowhere to ensure everyone is served at the table at the same time.
Only slight criticism is that it’s very noisy and sometimes I couldn’t hear my friends conversations as noise from other tables bounced around the hard surfaces.
I’ll be back!

What a wonderful evening. From the lovely cocktails to the sticky toffee souffle. Service was very good and kind, although a bit stiff. Our show stopper was the saddle of Venison. We love venison and eat it regularly. However, never as good as here. A reason to come back.
