Restaurant description

Mews of Mayfair is a unique hideaway, tucked away in an historic courtyard which houses a first-floor brasserie and a pizzeria.

Above the courtyard bar is Mews of Mayfair's first floor brasserie. Bright and elegant, the menu ranges from classic fish and chips to a large number of vegetarian, vegan and gluten- free options.

Decked out with extravagant chandeliers and large leather sofas, the Mews of Mayfair bar boasts an impressive wine list and an array of signature cocktails. Outdoor seating is also available in the cobbled courtyard.

Overlooking the bustling courtyard on the opposite side is Mews Pizza Co. This welcoming pizzeria is flooded with natural light, and serves a menu which changes with the seasons.

Afternoon tea has been created by Pastry Chef Terri, who ensures each vegan sweet treat tastes as good as it looks. Served in the stylish Cocktail Bar, this afternoon tea also features home-made rich fruit and plain scones and cakes including the lemon and lavender cucpakes and chamomile cream tarts.

Shame the menu has changed, the vegetarian options were too limited for me, a lot of the dishes I enjoyed previously are no longer available plus there used to be a number of flavours for Bellini but this is now limited to peach

Visited Mews of Mayfair for the first time after finding it on bookatable. It was an outing for Father’s Day, so we had the set ‘Bottomless Brunch’ menu, which was perfect to precede our afternoon tea at The Shard. The atmosphere was relaxed but vibrant, the manager was attentive, and the food was lovely. I personally had the Eggs Royal, followed by the Bircher Muesli then the Buttermilk Pancakes. Washed down with several Mimosas as part of the £15 unlimited drinks option, everything was delicious! My father had the Roast Beef option, which looked very appetising from my angle! A lovely find, tucked away in a very picturesque little courtyard location, which I probably wouldn’t have discovered had I not browsed the site for ideas. Beautifully decorated, it’s perfect for a family outing like ours or an intimate date. Definitely somewhere we’ll be revisiting in the future.

Mews of Mayfair was a wonderful discovery. The food delicious and the staff well trained and friendly. Our waitress couldn’t do enough for us. It was exceptional value for the money. I will definately be returning and have already recommended the restaurant to several friends

Tucked away down a side street (mews) past lots of tables with folk enjoying evening drinks was the restaurant. Shown up to first floor which was very nicely decorated (I think they were serving food and drink downstairs too (the second floor is for private dining) Service very good, food very good ( I chose stuff I wouldn't normally have as it was a treat - octopus and chorizo - very well prepared, chicken prepared very nicely for main (fab sauce and excellent cooked veg. My other half is vegetarian and had the veggie options off the main menu which again were different to standard fare and very well prepared and tasty. Service as I say was very good, appropriately attentive but in no way overbearing
