It was my first visit to the restaurant but not to the theatre. My friend and I found it a lovely experience, great food and really attentive service. Everyone was so helpful

A big hit with the Guardian, Menier Chocolate Factory showcases gourmet European dishes in a ‘seductively cool and atmospheric’ setting. Housed in a converted former factory, this theatre-cum-restaurant and bar maintains its edgy industrial vibe.

From casual daytime snacks through to refined chef’s recipes, the Menier menu offers a diverse selection. Alongside sumptuous sharing platters piled high with fresh, natural produce, Menier restaurant favourites include chicken supreme with polenta chips & roasted peppers, or the hand-pressed signature burger with all the trimmings.

Paying tribute to its cocoa-based origins, decadent chocolate desserts at Menier include the famous chocolate platter, or gooey brownie with rich chocolate sauce. An accomplished wine list and chilled international beers complement the award-winning food at Menier in London.

One of London’s most eclectic and arty restaurants, Menier features on-trend reclaimed décor, including timber beams, bare brickwork and exposed pipes. London Bridge stations are a 6-minute walk away.

Friendly. Efficient. Comfy. Ate a sharing platter which was good. Can't comment on regular menu items. Pre-theatre.

The food was enjoyable and was served efficiently. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and the staff were helpful in accommodating an extra person in our party part way through the meal. I think there could be further options on the menu.

Fine for pre-theatre Otherwise would not recommend

The service was good, but the choice of dishes not containing garlic is too limited for me.

Love having dinner at the Menier Chocolate Factory - the food is always absolutely delicious and good portions. We had the 2 course dinner for £17 - a piquant prawn cocktail to start and I had a jambalaya and my husband a chicken dish. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

An excellent pre Theatre meal. Enjoyed the set menu tailored to the play we were about to see (Cajun flavours for Tennessee Williams).

Mixed feelings. A la carte menu is expensive. Set menu good value. Scallops from main menu and shrimp cocktail from set menu good. Vegetable jambalaya not great and a bit too huge a portion. Service friendly and good.

Food was expensive for over cooked and dry food. All our mains and starters were overcooked. The wine list was expansive but no Champagne by the glass?
