McKenzie’s in Lichfield serve an eclectic menu of Mediterranean classics and grill favourites. From the beautiful setting of the old Corn Exchange building, the restaurant offers relaxed dining in impressive surrounds.

The McKenzie’s menu ranges from moreish light bites to steaks, burgers, Italian specialities and Sunday roasts. Accompanied by a choice of sauce, try a hearty rib eye with sautéed mushrooms and house chips, or opt for the premium beef burger in a brioche bun. Elsewhere on the menu, discover classic fish and chips with sustainably sourced haddock, prawn linguine with chilli and garlic, and porcini mushroom risotto.

Used to go here when it was Chandlers and please to say nothing much has changed.
Same brilliant service and great food.

I booked on line which I unfortunately would not recommend as I have had many unwanted emails from the booking arranger since shame.

    Otherwise a great experience

We have dined here before and we were not disappointed this time, very friendly helpful efficient staff, it was our wedding anniversary and we received a complimentary glass of Prosecco a really nice touch that made our celebration more special our meal was lovely, presented beautifully and delicious, music and atmosphere was relaxed, we have always enjoyed our visits to 'Mckenzie's' and can't praise them highly enough.

The location is good and the restaurant itself is lovely. Light and spacious and well laid out. The menu is a bit limited but that’s because they like to work with fresh foods. On a good day I expect this place is brilliant. Unfortunately they were having problems when we went. They did not have 2 out of the three starters; did not have 2 out of the mains and offered a very poor alternative for our vegetarian friend. They also didn’t have the wine we ordered or some of the deserts. The waitress was the saving grace. She worked really hard and was delightful. We did get a discount but this was a celebration so we were a bit disappointed.

We were a party of six & had a lovely 2 course lunch, wanted three, but couldn’t fit it in! There is a choice of one, two or three courses for a fixed price, excellent value. The staff were very attentive & nothing was too much trouble. Four of the party have been before however, the other two hadn’t & were very impressed, saying the homemade minestrone soup was “second to none”

Booked for a 2pm Sunday lunch however when we arrived the restaurant was exceptionally busy and we were informed that the roast had sold out. We opted instead for the 3 courses for £15 which was fantastic value for money ! Service ,food and ambience was exceptional and couldnt be faulted.
