Paying homage to the Fire of London monument nearby, the aptly named MBER restaurant on Pudding Lane serves sharing dishes from across East Asia. Paired with a vibrant cocktail list, carefully sourced, fresh ingredients are served against a backdrop of copper cages of liquor, bright leather sofas and trendy vintage bulbs.
MBER in the City of London dishes up the likes of yellowfin tuna sashimi with a black truffle salsa and ponzu or the soy-based char-siu pork doughnuts with a black treacle sauce. Elsewhere on the MBER menu, sample the spicy Vietnamese goat curry before ending on a champagne rhubarb and dragon fruit panna cotta.
A sultry yet buzzy London restaurant with distinctly industrial features, MBER is also home to a well-stocked bar offering an impressive selection of whiskies and cocktails. Exposed metal pillars, neon light fittings and flickering candles add to the modern yet intimate feel.
Offering inventive Pan-Asian cooking in the heart of the capital, MBER in London is just a 1-minute walk from Monument Station and a host of iconic landmarks.

The food and service was excellent! I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was very tasty especially the peanut butter parfait. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

We chose the 9 course tasting menu and the was not disappointed. The highlights were the tuna and the weeping tiger, although we must admit the squid needed a little more flavour. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very good too. Overall a really good experience and would love to visit again

This place is conveniently located a couple of steps from Monument Tube station, although small the decoration is stylish with a modern industrial look. The lighting is excellent, the bar and its cocktail makers dominate the space and makes it fun to watch. The service was excellent and the food delicious. The music selection was excellent on the evening of my visit, my only complain was the volume, I know this is the City but are we all going deaf?

Lovely setting to celebrate my Birthday. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. The food was of good quality with a variety of good choices especially for my friend who is gluten intolerant. Fantastic evening

My booking was lost and we were not informed of a problem with the kitchen until we arrived, the a la carte menu was not available so we didn’t get a chance to try any of the options we had previously viewed or the duck special as it was Chinese New Year, the set menu we were offered at the door was ok, the managers did not brief the staff as they were unaware of the issue when we sat down, we did however have some free drinks as a gesture, overall a great shame as we were looking forward to a Chinese New Year treat
