Showcasing sublime French and Asian fusion cuisine, maze is brought to you by Gordon Ramsay Group. The restaurant boasts an open sushi kitchen, and the dining room overlooks well-heeled Grosvenor Gardens in Mayfair.
Innovative and refined, the maze menu is designed so guests can enjoy an array of tasting-sized dishes. Choose from freshly-rolled sushi, or French-inspired flavours like duck with Romanesco, wild mushrooms & lemon, or halibut with truffles, leeks & artichokes.
The dining room at Maze in London is decorated with elegant handcrafted screens, pink-hued panels and pistachio furnishings. Choose from an extensive list of cocktails shaken at the glossy rosewood bar, or select from the fine wine list, where many lesser-known growing regions feature.
In one of London’s most exclusive postcodes, Maze in Mayfair is found 5 minutes’ walk from Bond Street Tube Station. The Maze restaurant dress code is casual, with smart trainers and denim allowed though no shorts or sportswear permitted.

As ever, a great restaurant. Food very good. Service very good.
As with all of these, so called offers from the likes of Bookatable, beware. They are advertised at a very attractive price, however, that is always for the very basic. We had two bottles of water and two dishes of potatoes with our main dish and the price went from £60 for 2 (approx) to £104 for 2!!! not complaining, as regulars know the game that is being played. just saying!!

The food, although small plates, was excellent and surprisingly filling! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive but not intrusively. Great special menu offer. Would come again.

Such a great experience! The BookATable deal is so great! We did end up ordering a few extra bits as the portions are small, but that's probably because we are a bit greedy.
The service is exceptional here and every single person makes you feel welcome, and like you are VIP.

Booked a table for 8 for a family lunch. Great central London location. Efficient and friendly service. Food was god but very small portions (we had the £30 set lunch). Wine list is very expensive - struggled to find more than 2 or 3 bottles under £40. We had a £32 Cote de Gascogne in the end which was very good.

Not a memorable experience, the food was OK as you would expect but it could have been anywhere really.

Tried the free flow sushi brunch. The menu on bookatable was vague as was the menu at the restaurant itself.
Frankly put quite disappointing. Waited 32 minutes before the miso soup was served. Though the prosecco was decent, I was happy to eat rather than just sit in to drink.
The sushi omakase was basic tuna (not chutoto or ot toro) and stone bass nigiri , 1 serving per cover with some salmon tartare on rice. Followed by vegetarian dragon sized roll and another indescript roll with "yuzu" dressing.
I'm not a Japanese traditionalist, I enjoy Nobu and fusion even. But the yuzu was basically syrupy, and tasted like the miso. The nigiri were ok. Nothing amazing.
One could order rounds of the same but it does get tried after a while. Also, the rice portions got larger as the meal went on, vinegar was also missing from the sushi rice.
I had expected more from Maze. Second time I had dined there and both times disappointment. Could have just gone to Nobu or Ohisama and had decent Japanese with a bottle of wine instead.

We did the £30 three course meal with cocktail. Lovely food but the main course was very small and lacked vegetables or potatoes of any form. The Manager kindly provided some after a short wait foc, however I think it should have been included as part of the main. The restaurant in its current fit out lacks a wow factor however I gather that there are plans to refurb it.
