As always a fabulous experience, a family meal which didn’t fail to impress. It’s busy, vibrant, cocktails, starters (hot chicken wings to die for) mails and sweets that just are amazing! Staff very attentive and all in all a great place to eat and drink.

Maxwell’s Covent Garden offers gourmet grill cuisine, and is just 2 minutes’ walk from the iconic Royal Opera House. As well as the bistro-style interior, patrons can dine al fresco in warmer weather.

Housed within a grand building, Maxwell’s restaurant is set over 2 spacious floors in the fashionable Covent Garden area. Choices span from the typical meat grills and steaks, to succulent fish and crisp salads. Resounding favourites include Maxwell’s own recipe hamburger, and creamy Portobello mushroom linguine. For younger diners, Maxwell’s kids menu offers tasty treats.

Alongside a well-balanced international wine list, Maxwell’s London takes pride in its extensive range of exciting cocktails. Signature mixes include the refreshing solero, and the tasty Baileys banana colada. For something sweet, desserts stay true to North American classics, with fluffy New York cheesecake and loaded, deep crust apple pie.

Less than 1 minute’s walk from Covent Garden Tube Station, Maxwell’s offers a vibrant dining experience, with an authentic and welcoming charm.

We always pay a visit to Maxwell’s Covent Garden when visiting London around 8/10 times a year as we love the atmosphere and food!
I was very disappointed as we had booked way in advance but it wasn’t on the system as we had booked through the reservation email???
The service was very poor and we were kept waiting for quite a while, the food was good just a shame about the service and the fact we wasn’t booked in after carefully planning our trip to see the New Year’s Eve fireworks!!
We had a drink in the bar after and the bar stalk were excellent especially the guy who served us didn’t catch his name but small guy with dark hair think was Eastern European??? Fab drinks and service here!!

arrived at 6pm and sat down straight away order drinks then chose our food from menu...we ordered our food at 6.15pm... at 6.45 and having witnessed 3 other tables who ordered after us be served their meals and we as yet had not even had our starters got up and left...so don't bother using this place as there is plenty of choice in the Covent garden area that know how to look after their customers better than this

First time at Maxwell's and loved it. Cocktails were excellent - not sure if you have a happy hour but may help those with less money as they were just short of £8 per drink.
I had the Old School burger which was great - nice to be able to add toppings to it - which I definitely did.

Three of us came to eat and really enjoyed it - deserts were amazing as well

I would say my favourite dish was the melting chocolate pudding with marshmallows - hmmmmm lovely

Restaurant has a good feel about it, good atmosphere and felt really comfortable - good thing was we weren't rushed through everything, just left to enjoy our time there.

The restaurant is great. I love the lively, dynamic atmosphere, the decoration and above all the food! The dishes are massive and delicious. The staff is great too.
Highly recommended!! Only issue, they do not stock Malbec Red Wine !!! How is that possible?

Good deal 50% off some main courses on Mondays. Tasty food fries were so yummy, burger was a bit dry though. Freakshakes were amazing

Great birthday meal, Starters- ribs and shrimp good but chicken wings too dry. Main meals- burgers were delicious but BBQ chicken had way too much BBQ sauce, took away from the flavour if the chicken,
Freakshakes - Oreo was amazing, unicorn a bit too sweet.

Service was good. Would eat here again.
