Booked for Sunday evening for four of us. A bit disappointed that the Sunday menu had changed to that which was on the web site. It was a limited menu and I understand it will be the same in the future. If you wanted to dine on a Sunday evening regularly then it would become very boring as it was basically a Sunday lunch. However, the meal was really good and the staff could not have been more helpful.

We loved Sunday lunch at Maxine’s. I had Salmon, two of us had lamb and my husband had beef. It was all delicious, service was great and friendly but not over bearing.

Friendly polite staff... Starter and main meal was good, pudding was disappointing. Cheesecake topping was to dense, grainy and tasteless.... Cost of meal was good value however drinks expensive and sneaking in a gratitude payment on the bill is both sneaky and inappropriate... I would have left a larger tip than the gratitude payment if it hadn’t been sneaked onto the bill... Overall seemed an expensive night out to that envisaged by the temptingly cheap meal offer....

Lovely to return to Bannatynes after our wedding there 5 years ago. Food was lovely and the service is good. Very reasonably priced too.

First Sunday lunch we had here was brilliant. However, this Sunday lunch was the Christmas Fayre and not as good. There was far too much food on the plate, the turkey was wrapped in bacon which was not cooked enough. The bacon was very pale. However, the turkey was beautiful just so much. There was, however, plenty of veg. which was lovely. The tables were set beautifully with gold crackers but the room was very cold. Did not see any radiators, or where any warmth could enter. We had the Christmas Pudding which was delicious. We will go back in the New Year, as the staff were lovely and very helpful.
