Beautiful setting! Wonderful day for it so we had lunch outside in the garden. The Sunday lunch sharer is such a great idea, trying all the different starters and the main was amazing! Lots of gravy which is important!!! Service was spot on.

Went for afternoon tea with my wife and mum. Had the room to ourselves, which was a bonus. Afternoon tea was really good and more sizeable than many others we've had. Service was pleasant.

We did not like ur system of small sharing portions. We would rather choose the dishes we like. We also felt it was wasteful.

I am sorry to say we found the sharing Sunday lunch very disappointing. Diners really need to be made aware that there is only 1of everything each ie 1 slice of parsnip 1 battered cauliflower, 1 piece of potatoe. The meat is served on a wooden tray and it was impossible to distinguish between the lamb and the pork. The beef was ok, and the chicken arrived later.

Desserts were fine. Staff were excellent, no complaints, they are put in a very difficult situation be having to serve such tiny portions. I realise that more vegetables may be requested but why not just serve them with meal.

It was such a lovely atmosphere and we felt really welcome! Everyone was so friendly and professional but not over the top! It's a 5* experience but the prices are affordable and we were actually suprised at how good the bill was when we got up to pay :) Food was out of this world we thanked the chef and he gave us a free desert to say thank you, this made us feel very special! Our new go to place! Can't fault anything not enough stars to give! :)
