Great place to eat. Everything is fresh. We included our dietary requirements when booking and they had everything sorted out for us to a T. We did not have to remind them of anything. They all were charming and attentive. Beautiful views of the garden. 10/10 for us.

Set in 38 acres of idyllic gardens and woodland, The Conservatory restaurant at the Bannatyne Hotel is a tranquil dining haven in Hastings. Overlooking the colourful flowerbeds and manicured lawns of the formal gardens, the restaurant incorporates local, seasonal produce in refined British cuisine.
The Conservatory menu excites with cured five-spice Margery duck breast served with pan-fried foie gras and a rhubarb and apple puree, which features alongside a roast loin of Ashdown forest venison with dauphinoise potato and braised red cabbage in a red wine jus. Chic, monochrome tables at The Conservatory are soaked in sunlight and decorated with potted plants for a wholesome, natural ambience.
Accompanying The Conservatory restaurant is a colourful terrace bar, which serves full afternoon tea with freshly-made sandwiches and homemade scones. Decorated with vivid colours and eye-catching modern art, it opens out onto al fresco dining.
It’s roughly a 10-minute drive down from the Bannatyne Hotel to Hastings Station, with Hastings Castle just a minute or so further. The Bannatyne Hotel is part of a chain from Dragon’s Den magnate, Duncan Bannatyne.

Very good staff, attentive at all times, food OK, very tough pork main course, ambiance mediocre, venue itself looked very austere, not what had imagined from website looking out to building work from table.

Excellent service; restaurant menu extremely limited especially if there for more than one meal.

Nice venue but not many people there (Sunday lunch). Starter good but main course a bit disappointing. It was a birthday celebration and the chef made a nice effort for the sweet course. With such a nice venue I felt it should have had more of a 'buzz'

All staff were brilliant. Couldnt fault them. The food was nice but the portion I was given was so so tiny. I had the fish from your menu. It was the smallest piece of plaice I have ever had. Luckily I had a cheese board for dessert which filled me up.

Really love my dinning experience at the spa restaurant Hastings. Food was good and the seating area is very nice with open view. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely go back with more friends and families. The overnight stay package offer is great value for money.
