The Bookatable deal was good value overall. Sadly a few things were a bit hit and miss at the restaurant. Firstly the deal included a cocktail and there were three to choose from with no description or list of ingredients. Our particular waiter was clueless as to what was in each of them, so had to call someone else over to explain. The Scarlett O'Hara was excellent. We all chose the croquettes to start and steak as a main. Bearing in mind this restaurant specialises in steak, I would have expected more consistency of cooking. We ordered ranging from rare to medium to well. The rare steak had barely been introduced to any heat and was cold in the middle. The 'medium to well' was rare. This was sent back for more cooking and came back rare again, at which point we gave up on sending it back again. The restaurant did resolve this with us by reducing the bill with minimal fuss which was appreciated. There was some confusion over whether we could swap out accompaniments without any extra charge.
The desserts on the set menu were miniscule - basically sample sized.
Note the wine list has hardly anything below £50, with plenty in the three and four figure category. Luckily I found a nice Portuguese red I'd had before on holiday at a 'bargain' £29.
The restaurant is huge and was mainly filled with groups of men. This may or may not be appealing :).

Impressive on arrival. Glitzy silver and Red. Two huge staircases to go down (my husband is 75 and found it really difficult) to a underground art decoesque room where you sit in booth with high screens that means you cant see anything, or in particular staff. Service was awfully slow, surly staff, very unfriendly, drink arrived after the starter.Meal ok and wine was nice.

Asked to leave the table midway through the desert as they had another couple waiting for a table. Apparently when reserving with the pre-theatre menu the turn time is 1.5hrs but the booking conformation does not mention these terms. In spite of the fact that it took them 15min to take our orders, that they didn’t even offer us the pre-theatre menu (we had to ask for it), we ordered extra sides/wine etc they still had the audacity to ask us leave mid-meal. Shocking service!

Only one detraction, when i tried to call the number in the confirmation email to add another guest the number was continuously engaged, in the end I looked up a number on their web page however even that number has a formatting error it has the 0 after country code which should be removed.

My friend and I had the Pre Theatre menu and really enjoyed it. We both had the Charcuterie and then we opted to share the two steak options available. The meat was tender and well seasoned and the red wine complimented the meal extremely well. It was quite busy, but we were never made to feel that we had to hurry up and it was nice to be able to relax and enjoy the meal. I would definitely recommend
