We dined at 1.30 on Mothers Day with two Mums in our party. A mixed experience. The food for the price was ok - nothing special. The setting was nice. The BIG let down was the service - to hear a member of staff [@] walk away from the table to our left exclaiming "for ***** sake' because he was asked to take their coffee to the lounge was appalling. Poor [@] had obviously had bad news prior to her shift as she was so miserable. All the things we asked for (children's menu, sauces, drinks) actually did seem too much trouble. Only [@] who greeted and seated us and [@] were impeccable in their jobs and were pleased to help. The menu did also state a present for every Mum but we did not see any. Such a shame for such an establishment to allow such poor service and attention to detail to sully their reputation. More staff training required and better management.

Food was value for money, tasted great and was presented very well. The Kids had their own menu with puzzles to keep them entertained. We dined in a party of 12 with 3 kids and everyone really enjoyed it. Service was swift even tho there were a few of us and the restaurant was busy. Thanks to all at the Marine Brasserie for making my wife's birthday so special.
