The eponymous Michelin-starred restaurant from revered chef Marcus Wareing, Marcus is the sophisticated dining space of The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge. After 10 glorious years as Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, the restaurant underwent a major renovation, and a name change, to reopen as a more relaxed and contemporary environment.
Serving modern European cuisine rooted in British culture, the Marcus menu presents sumptuous offerings packed with fine, seasonal produce. A creative vegetarian selection is also offered, while an 8-course tasting menu can be partnered with fine wines selected by the sommelier.
Seating up to 10, the spectacular Chef's Table at Marcus is the perfect entertaining space for an immersive and memorable dining experience and provides front row seats to the best food theatre in London.
The Chef’s Table opens neatly out onto the main dining room, but can also be separated by an opaque glass partition to create a more private experience. The kitchen provides a fascinating moving image of chefs at work, allowing you the opportunity to interact with the team, while you enjoy a bespoke tasting menu, which can be tailored around your personal preferences.
Marcus is in Wilton Place, a 4-minute walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station and a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station.

It was a wonderful evening with extraordinary food and service. Our evening there felt very special. We had the £55 tasting menu which we able to have in the evening on a Monday. Food was just sublime. Ends up being pricey overall once you add on alcohol and service, but for a special occasion it is 100% worth it. Special shout out to the waiters / waitresses and the sommelier as well who were just lovely and so attentive. I hope to return!

We had the 7 course tasting menu. We absolutely loved it. The duck was sensational It was my his husbands birthday and they even presented him with a little gift & cake. It was a lovely touch

Excellent and attentive service, creative dishes with new blends of aromas. However too slow to get served, it seemed the kitchen could not follow our pace... The decor of the place is a bit passé

Fantastic food, staff , surroundings and excellent value for money It is advertised as a 1* mitchellin restaurant, we only dine at mitchellin star restaurants , and in our opinion it was worthy of 2/3 stars Look forward to returning Thankyou team

Flawless service, food, wine pairings and everything adapted for a coeliac diet with no fuss, just as much detail and attention put into the dishes as for my non-gluten free boyfriend. We will be back and recommending to others!

Elegant ambience, very well trained and attentive staff, scrumptious food to the delight of one's palate. The Sommelier's suggested wine pairing was a very nice option and the truffle cheeses were to die for. And the bread! Do not miss the Guinness bread! All together, 10 out 10! We are definetely coming back. Over and Over.

We decided to go for the Lunch menu and initially were very impressed with the snacks which had complex flavours and we thought were a taste of things to come. For the first course I had Slow cooked egg, cep,caramelised celeriac broth and winter truffle. It was very nice appart from the fact that the shaved truffle added was totally tasteless. However the truffle shavings added to cheese at a later course were excellent, perhaps the truffle used for the first course was oxidised? My friend had Mackerel smoked eel etc. which she liked but said was over seasoned. For the main course I had Halibut and Octopus. Most of the Octopus was tough and the fish was overcooked, we were given a discount on the bill for this. My friend had the duck and found it very enjoyable appart from the duck skin which was not crispy. The truffle and cheese course was excellent demonstrating how well truffle and honey go with cheese. The desserts were delicious. The service overall was excellent appart from the fact that the waiter who described the food did not speak english clearly. Value for money was excellent.
