The eponymous Michelin-starred restaurant from revered chef Marcus Wareing, Marcus is the sophisticated dining space of The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge. After 10 glorious years as Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, the restaurant underwent a major renovation, and a name change, to reopen as a more relaxed and contemporary environment.
Serving modern European cuisine rooted in British culture, the Marcus menu presents sumptuous offerings packed with fine, seasonal produce. A creative vegetarian selection is also offered, while an 8-course tasting menu can be partnered with fine wines selected by the sommelier.
Seating up to 10, the spectacular Chef's Table at Marcus is the perfect entertaining space for an immersive and memorable dining experience and provides front row seats to the best food theatre in London.
The Chef’s Table opens neatly out onto the main dining room, but can also be separated by an opaque glass partition to create a more private experience. The kitchen provides a fascinating moving image of chefs at work, allowing you the opportunity to interact with the team, while you enjoy a bespoke tasting menu, which can be tailored around your personal preferences.
Marcus is in Wilton Place, a 4-minute walk from Knightsbridge Tube Station and a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park Corner Tube Station.

TOP lunch met meer dan goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Attente bediening en aandacht van de Host. Ze regelde ook een bezoekje aan de keuken en een “Meet & Greet met Marcus himself”

We had a fantastic meal at Marcus. The waiters were very attentive and the food was incredible in particular the duck and quail dishes. At the end of the meal we were invited into the kitchen as we wanted to thank the chefs and met the Head chef which was a perfect way to end a lovely meal!

A friend and I went to Marcus as a treat for our 'big' birthdays. I have advised them of my dietary needs beforehand and was a bit concerned what I would be able to eat. Anyway there was no need to worry, the staff took us straight though to a large table and were already aware of my allergies and gave me some options. I then asked for something completely different and they adapted it to suit my needs. We ordered from the a la carte menu and the flavours were divine. The staff were lovely, but the atmosphere was a little quiet but we did eat quite early. The décor feels quite masculine, but was very tasteful. It was quite expensive (with 12.5% service added on), but I think we were expecting that.

The staff at The Berkeley Hotel is just lovely, from the guy who took my call to confirm the table to the waiters serving us a drink previous to the meal. The host in the restaurant and all the staff that attended us there were brilliant. They treated us very kindly and friendly as we like. They showed us the kitchen and the chef's table which was wonderful surprise. The lunch menu was delicious and great value, with an extraordinary "Sweetcorn, tarragon, Coolea, black pudding" but for me the best dish was the "Iberico pork, borlotti, chorizo, lemon" Out of this world! It blew me away... With the first bite I found myself back to my childhood back in Spain when my mum cooked those buttery brown beans with chorizo and pork ribs on a Sunday... Chef took this homely food from my memories to the next level and I can't be more thankful for it!
