This was an afternoon tea to benefit a local charity. There was nothing great or even good about the meal, choice of only 2 sandwiches, no vegetarian option, no beverage available until end of meal, poor cake selection & half a scone. When tea came it was very weak & no serviette until end of meal, insufficient place settings. Poor service due to limited no. of waiting staff. On the positives, the venue was attractive & very clean.

Arrival at the restaurant was visually very good. Good service and welcome, Starters were very nice. Main Course fish pie very good. Rump of lamb not bad. Two sirloin stakes were ordered one medium and one medium rare, The quality of the meat was very disappointing to say the least, meat was uneatable it could not be chewed and both of us had to remove from mouth and place in small saucepan. I would have taught the chef must/should taste the quality of produce before placing on menu before service starts. I would suggest Marci Pierre White visit venue and ensure meat quality is at the high standard only he would expect. Over all experience the service was very good we were offered and given good will on both stake meals, but money is not the question. The name and quality of food must take precedence in this case. I am not sure if I would revisit Marco Pierre White restaurant again, which is a shame as I am a very serious fan of his. I hope this is not the standard expected in other restaurants should we book again. Overall comment venue very good service very good food very disappointing loads of apologies but this is not what we went out for In particular to a Marco Pierre White Restaurant.

We met with some friends one evening, had pre-diner drinks, then were shown to our table. There we were given enough attention to understand, order and enjoy the menu and our evening........ Just excellent and delicious!

We experienced a series of hitches. We booked 4 days ahead but they said they'd only just received the booking. Then they found the table they'd 'reserved' was still occupied, so switched us to a small table squashed in a corner. We asked to be moved but were told all tables were booked even though this later proved not to be the case. The table was barely large enough for two place settings so bottles had to be moved to one side. We ordered a bottle of 2009 Viognier Reserva but they brought 2011 which was a poor imitation so was changed for a different wine. They said the wines they had in the cellar were always younger than the years shown on the list (is this common practice?).Overall, having been open for several months now, these sort of problems should not be happening. We will not be recommending Wheeler's at Camberley West to business colleagues or family and friends just yet.

Evening meal mid week so the restaurant was not heaving. Great food and lots of choice on the menu. Wine menu was good too.
