Just really a normal pricey hotel restaurant using the name but did not get the quality of service or food one expects from the name 'Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill. My beefburger looked like and first bite tasted like beef burger from MacDonald or birds eye which i was surprised about as I unfortunately expected premium burger. Staff very helpful though and recooked fresh burger so less birds eye beefburger like which was no trouble. Comfortable clean pleasant dining area. Just expect normal good pricey hotel food and you will then be happy

Lots of choice and a lovely meal. Bit over priced and the service was sketchy at times. Would go again.

Absolutely terrible - Marco would be ashamed to see the quality of food being served here with his name on!

We were very disappointed! The staff were fantastic, but the food and ambiance were very much lacking. The onion soup was bland and had too much cheese in it, and the ribeye steaks were nothing special at all. We didn’t bother with dessert. The buffet breakfast was much better though, but the premier inn breakfast is better and much cheaper!

Rump of lamb was very tough and difficult to eat. An apology from the waitress but no discount offered.

Very pleasant meal, although a little underwhelming - perhaps our expectations were too high. My wife, for her recent 60th b'day had a number of gifts for fine dining. Our visit to you was one of those, we experienced in the last few weeks everything from 2 Michelin stars to the local pub! So enough to make a fair comparison - we went to MPW with 2 friends and the meal was very nice - but not wow! Which is fine, but sadly the service really lets down this restaurant, it was a quiet evening and was well staffed with 5 visible staff, one was clearly very new and could have done with some support. They were all friendly and polite, but the gap between the first 2 meals being served to the second two was just too long - they could [and should] have bought all 4 together. Two dishes were cleared from the table while two of us were still eating - unacceptable really and taken before I could say anything. Whilst clearing the first two dishes the grubby teacloth was left on our table and remained there even though 3 different waitresses attended our table to clear the rest, bring more water and desert menus. We did have a nice meal, and a pleasant evening but I think it worth giving this honest feedback to help you provide a better service. For us based on this experience we would probably not return, I did expect more having never been to Marco Pierre White before and thought it would be high on my list of experiences, but it was pretty mediocre.
