Food was lovely, service was quite slow had to wait 30 mins for a drink order to be taken then 20 mins to get it, although the staff were nice.

Both food and service were great. Dined here twice in the past and all areas were poor. Unbelievable improvements well done.

Overall my experience at the restaurant was a pleasant one. However I do think it was very over priced for the quality of the starter and main courses. If I did not have the itison voucher that I used I would be a lot less content with the experience. Serving staff were very nice.

The food was decent but I wouldn't rush back. We went as I purchased a deal for £150 to spend in the restaurant for £75. I would have said the meal was reasonable value for the £75 but would never actually merit the actual cost of £150. The service was very slow and the food was fine but nothing to write home about.

We had a terrible experience. Our waitress couldn’t explain items on the menu when we asked for more info. Our steaks were cooked to the wrong temperature (one over cooked and one undercooked) our cabbage hadn’t been washed resulting in it being gritty. Also very overpriced.

The food was ok but not special like I thought it would be with a name like Marco Pierre White. The waitress was friendly but forgot about our wine and had to be reminded. We were sat next to the kitchen doors so there was a lot of people walking past and the door was very squeaky so it was difficult to hear what my husband was saying. I asked to be moved but this was not possible. Then a waiter dropped a wine glass which smashed into tiny pieces. There was no apology and they missed lots of bits when cleaning it up. I also saw a waitress spill leftover bearnaise sauce from the table next to us and it landed mostly in that customers handbag but some also went on my husband’s coat. Overall I was really disappointed and we won’t be back.

Have visited this restaurant many times but on Tuesday evening was very disappointed. The service was very slow even although the place was empty. Had finished our starters before our drinks arrived which wasn’t good. Prawn cocktail was okay but think that the accompanying bread was buttered the day before...disgusting. With our mains the waitress said that she would bring us both a steak knife...but didn’t and we had to wait several minutes to get her attention to ask for the knives as we had none. Both had the lamb main course and it was nice. The waitress was pleasant . As I said have eaten here many times...but may choose to try somewhere else for the future. My two daughters visited last night and again lots of issues. Overall disappointed.

Not sure if Mr White gets to read feedback - but perhaps he should take time to do so, as this is not how he portrays himself. Disaster of a night - wrong starter came - after over 1/2 hour waiting. Waiting again ... Correct starter did eventually arrive, and was delicious. Waiting again ..... Ordered medium-rare fillet steak, and received overcooked (med/well) steak. The 'triple-cooked' chips were like McCains frozen type. After over 1 1/2 hours from arriving, could not afford the time to return this, so ate and left. To be fair, I was not charged for the steak, and also received a complementary drink. Would much have preferred an enjoyable night, with good food (on time!). This was a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was about 3/4 full (and cold) - with only 2 overworked staff attending - as well as attending to the 'other areas' - as advised. We have been to MPW/Glasgow several times (my first time blew us away, as everything was perfect ... THEN), but will not be back. Other diners had the same opinion.

Arrived for a dining experience I was really looking forward to for my birthday. Was told there were no steaks or sides left as management had over booked. Staff had walked out and we were not getting any food. Absolute joke and Marco should be ashamed

Disappointing. Service painfully slow. No rump steak available. Opted for roast guinea fowl instead - was served chicken. Food tasty but experience ruined by lengthy waits.
