Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

Wonderful staff who are so helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Our corner window seat was the best overlooking 'the rooftops of Birmingham', the canal and the surrounding area. Lots of other diners enjoying afternoon tea. My vegetarian beetroot starter and gnocchi main course were excellent. My carnivorous husband enjoyed his calamari starter and surloin steak - rare just as he likes it - main course. A bottle of merlot completed the meal. Only sorry we couldn't manage desert. Next time definitely. An experience, not just a meal.

I thought the food was very average for the price. Me and my partner paid over £30 each for a medium rare steak that was more medium and very hard to cut through and the chips for very dry! We weren’t very impressed with the food. The service on the other hand was very good. The table we had with the view was stunning and we had a waiter named Erin, she was amazing. Catered for us very well, was very friendly and helpful and made our night very comfortable it’s a pity that the tips paid on card do not go direct to the person who serves you.

Afternoon tea great Location great We were left waiting for 45 mins for our table as the waiter said he couldn’t find us, we were sat on the bar balcony having a drink which is where he asked us to wait. We then had to request to move tables as he had given our window table away to another booking, we did get a window table though. Apart from this no issues.
