Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

Great experience absolutely loved it my only complaints would be the air conditioner above was dripping - we was moved to one side which made me uncomfortably close to the loud table next to us (COVID) Also a child running freely around the restaurant screaming, was slightly annoying we have 3 children, however we wouldn’t ever allow our children to run round a restaurant in that manner- we’d gone out for a romantic evening as a couple, unfortunately this let it down for me The food was incredible and service was fine

I was expecting a more sophisticated meal as the restaurant i have heard many good things about. Arrived to have children crying most the night and no staff told the parents. Then we felt rushed by the waiter as soon as we sat down to order drinks and mains! We hadnt even looked at the menu and still had a mouthful or bread and buter in my mouth! Then, i ordered a ribeye steak, for £28 i expected great quality and to be honest it wasnt a nice cut. Quite stringy and very fatty. I didnt complain as was starving, aswell As this, marco put more on the platee!! 4 small tomatoes meat and chips! Get yourself in a miller and carter and see a full plate!

First time to eat out since lock down eased!! Very impressed with the security, cleanliness, one way system and staff!! Have been here many times before so had a good idea that the food would be tasty and well presented - wasn't disappointed! Because of where it is, you do expect to pay more for drinks but I do feel that £4.50 for a pint of coke to be a wee bit excessive!

I went with my partner to the restaurant. It was in immaculate condition throughout. Easy to find and very welcoming on arrival. We had booked a table and was seated instantly. The views we're amazing. Service and food was more than expected. Definitely visiting again!

Staff were very assertive made us feel at ease due to Covid measurements. It was my 9 year old daughter’s first time dining at Marcos and she loved it! Jack our waiter was polite and couldn’t do enough for us made sure we had everything we needed and the food was ok. I’ve dined at Birmingham and Stratford restaurants and both were perfect. Can’t wait to dine at Marcos again in the future.

From arrival in lobby the dining experience was planned in great detail from a safety point of view. Met by doorman in mask checking details, hand sanitisers to be used before entry to lift, sanitisers available by entrance to restaurant. Met by waitress and guided to table. All staff are masked and keep as distant as possible whilst still providing excellent, friendly service. The meals were delicious even though we had booked the menu for the dine out scheme, there was no cutting corners. For starters welsh Rarebit, salad, followed by steak cooked exactly as my husband likes it, my smoked haddock cooked to perfection. Dessert was poached fruit in wine and for me blue cheese and crackers. We did also order olives, bread basket, cocktails and a bottle of very nice red. At no point were we rushed to finish and leave, we allowed to relax and enjoy our evening out. The views from the restaurant are fabulous and we were lucky to be sat right the window. We would recommend this restaurant to any one and look forward to our next evening there.
