Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

Recently came for a 3 course lunch with my fiancé, I absolutely loved the decor of the restaurant and the layout. I requested a window seat and although it was busy when we arrived, 10 minutes later our table with a window view was ready. From start to finish the service was amazing, very attentive staff. The food was lovely! Big portions and cooked to perfection. It was the perfect setting for a romantic, intimate lunch with my other half, the atmosphere was great and the music was brilliant! Will definitely be visiting again.

Good service and great view. Not a fan of the lemon cupcakes that come with the gin & tea (they are dry and hard). Clotted cream somewhat too soft/melted.

We were a group of 6 and paid the extra to sit by the window. It was a very nice experience, albeit very busy throughout. Unfortunately the waiter did not seem to know the menu very well. Four times my friend had to say Buttered Beans (which is how they are described on the menu). Also I think it would be nice if the staff were educated on the view and what buildings are what. Seems little point to have a skyline view that no one knows what is what.

I Thought you brought out the food far to quick, wanting to enjoy the experience and the views it was like here you go get the food out quickly and off you go so we can sit the next persons down, little like a cattle market . in fact we had eaten the starter well before the bottle on wine we ordered came out, after i had to prompt the waiter portions where a bit to small, the food was just warm, to me it should of been hot, which tells me you must have had plates waiting ready to go

Good evening with very good food, shame the table we had was behind a pillar which blocked the amazing view and right next to the live music act which although great, was load to sit next to. Feel like one of the two would have been manageable but both was a bit annoying. Nevertheless good service and tasty food.
