Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

We ate at 7pm on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was busy but had a lovely ambience, my husband had a flat steak which he really enjoyed and I had the salmon fishcake

Had dined before but 6 years had passed, so in Birmingham for the night, wanted to revisit. An added bargain as in January a 50 percent discount from the a la carte menu. Duck terrine starter for me was lovely, and calamari for her was enjoyed. Both had the lamb for mains and was much appreciated. Shared pudding of millionaire shortbread thing...not shortbread as I know it, but tasty with some lovely chocolate ice-cream. Friendly welcome, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Glad we went back!

Had rebooked window table which we were taken to promptly. Drinks order taken straight away. Left to choose our meal from menu , not rushed at all. Starters were delicious. Main meal was hot. My husbands steak came exactly as he had asked for it, which pleased him. We asked for strawberry dessert to come with ice cream not cream . We got what we asked for. Service was extremely good.

We had lovely evening, great location, and food, The restaurant was busy, with fewer waiters and waitresses than one would expect, but our waitress worked really hard to mange our table.

Quality of food is now excellent every time and certainly a lot better from when this place originally opened. Slight irritation having to wait 20 minutes for a pre-booked table to be ready.

Restaurant extremely busy due to offers. Our booking was assumed to be with someone of the same name so our bookings were joined together. This was soon rectified. We waited a while to be acknowledged and our order to be taken. Service was slow to receive afternoon tea. This was because it was obviously far too busy.
