Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

It was lovely, minus the fact that there were so many empty tables round the edge of the room (where you can see the view) yet they sat us in the middle of the room?

this was my first visit to Marco Pierre's for valentines day. when seated at are table we had no condiments, salt, pepper etc... also no lit lamp like very other table had. granted it was very busy but our table didn't seem set correctly. we sat down at 8pm. the waitress came and took our drinks order at 8.20. a different waiter came to take our drinks order 5 minutes later but we explained we had already ordered them. he then took our food order instead. the starters arrived BEFORE our drink order. we asked 2 separate waiters to light the table lamp. this was not done until some 30 mins later. food was incredible and the views are amazing. I feel the poor service let the experience down. I understand it was busy however ina restaurant with that reputation you expect the best but we did not got that.

Food was outstanding as predicted from previous visits. Chateaubriand was cooked perfectly. Only downside which was a first for my girlfriend and myself was the service was very slow but the waitress was lovely and very apologetic.

Absolutely great restaurant. We really enjoyed the experience as we were given the top corner window view. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Quality of the food was immaculate, especially for the great valentine’s deal. Unfortunately, it was my boyfriends birthday and I came earlier before the booking to leave a Thornton’s cake, with a request for it to come out later for dessert, but we never received it. When I reminded the staff, the following day, no one could locate it. Cyril was very helpful in looking, we can’t fault the staff, just a little disappointed. Other than that. It was PERFECT
