Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

Paying to sit next to a window in which the view was nothing special fell short of our expectations but lunch itself was nice. Only slight jiggle was £145 for lunch for two people was on the high side.

Fast & friendly service, comfortable chairs with great views. No need to pay extra for a window seat as the view is good anyway & can sit in the bar & look out. First course of Sunday lunch was tasty & well cooked but in my opinion the vegetables needed a little more love as they looked dry & not at all glossy. The pudding was a lemon tart which was very lemony but it was just a small round tart on a plate with a spoon of icecream on the top, no fancy touches like a sprinkle of icing sugar, or a drizzle of sauce or a slice of fruit so again not appealing but tasted ok. Would not rush back for seconds.
