Restaurant description

From world-renowned chef Marco Pierre White, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Birmingham marries an ultra-slick setting and sumptuous old school recipes. On the 25th floor of the spectacular Cube building, 360-degree views of the city are offered.

Offering a range of uncomplicated classics, the Marco’s menu stays true to British cooking, with dishes like signature shepherd’s pie, or roast partridge with chipolatas and bread sauce. Heading a sterling selection at Marco’s restaurant is a range of succulent 28-day-aged steaks. Sample a novel-thick cut of T-bone, or a luxurious fillet served with all the traditional trimmings.

Nostalgic flavours for dessert see old school classics served with a high-end twist, with offerings like bread & butter pudding, or a retro sherry trifle. An extensive wine list at Marco’s in Birmingham perfectly complements the richly flavoured cuisine.

Evoking a cool cosmopolitan vibe in this breath-taking setting, guests can enjoy Marco Pierre White Steakhouse's glass-fronted al fresco terrace during warmer weather. The Mailbox is a stone's throw from MPW Steakhouse, and New Street Station is 10 minutes' walk away.

Dishes displayed on a la carte menus are representative of the type of food available at the restaurant.

Dined at lunch. Food was average. Very filling. Position and atmosphere great. When booking I asked for champagne on arrival as was my husbands 40th birthday. A high chair. And a 40th dessert message. Got none of the above, had to ask again, so sparkle was taken away from the experience I had hoped for.

Evening meal for special occasion, requested table by the window that wasn't honoured. Service was affected the busier it got but everyone was very friendly and the food was without fault. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to others.

Dined Sunday evening. Good selection from fixed price Sunday Roast menu. Only minor disappointment was service - plenty of staff and eager to help but a few too many errors for a restaurant of this calibre / price. 4 people dining but 5 meals added to bill. 4 deserts ordered but only two served - two forgot so short delay. Asked if fish pie was pastry or mash based - first answered "pastry" second correctly answered "mash".

Food OK but would have welcomed wider range of green vegetables.

Food was good, although soup was cold and needed to be returned. Unfortunately service was poor, had to wait for bread, drinks, had to prompt staff for service, which was a major dissapointment. Complained to Manager who was excellent and because of this will return.

Food tasted amazing, side orders were plentiful as was dessert. My only main gripe is the service. 20 minutes for warm bread. 15 minutes for first drinks. No one asking if I wanted more drinks etcNot having things I wanted on the menu. This is understandable, but staff should be made aware so a guest doesn't have to re order times. No spinach, no house wine etc. This don't ruin my meal, I just think price location and exciter sort ounces the restaurant, the service has some catching up to do Regards[@]
