I just wish I had ordered all 3 courses. But I was absolutely stuffed. We ordered Chris and onion rings as side orders. These are a must!! Not the fastest service ever but lovely food. Wine was quite pricey but we went with online lunchtime deal where a glass was included and there is ice water which is poured as needed. It was a lovely lunchtime treat! The only problem was that out sat nav did not know where it was!!

Too much effort had gone in greeting customer. Staff was friendly, polite and attentive which is a nice change. Food was pricey but well worth it, so personally for us won't be a regular visit. Without sound snubbish, we expected the dress code to be more smart and chic which would to our opinion add to the sophistication of the place. This was not the case however. Most people seemed to be in their jeans and t-shirts which was a bit disappointing for a restaurant of this level.

My Husband and i booked for 6.30 then decided this was a bit early phoned to change booking spoke to Alice (i think) and nothing was a problem, the staff were first class made us feel very welcome. The meal is very deceiving very good helping. only one little snag waited a while on our main course though wouldn't make that a big problem as enjoyed the experience.

I asked for medium to well done steak and it was medium to rare. Two of the party asked for the a la carte belly pork and the table d'hote version turned up and as other diners had already been served they were asked if the other diners would still go ahead and eat their course as the table d'hote pork might take up to 10 minutes! However it was ready after 2 minutes.

This was one of the best meals we have had in a long time, well worth a visit, prices range from middle of the road to fairly expensive, it all depends on what you want. The staff were lovely and the food delicious, would highley recommend it to anyone.
