Restaurant description

With understated elegance and affordable glamour, Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill – Liverpool presents a fine array of British steaks and grills, made with locally sourced British ingredients.

Housed in the boutique-inspired Hotel Indigo, Marco Pierre White Liverpool is a traditional steakhouse set in an impressive urban dining space. Industrial-style fittings of warm coppers are set against exposed brick walls, whilst quirky music iconography gives a nod to the city’s rich cultural heritage.

All sourced from Royal Warrant appointed butcher, Campbell Brothers, the freshly grilled steaks head the varied menu made up of seasonal ingredients, alongside tempting sharing boards, classic sandwiches and hearty salads. Classic English desserts on the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse menu include sticky toffee pudding, or try traditional and themed afternoon teas, including teas specially designed for men and children.

A name synonymous with fine British cuisine, Marco Pierre White was the first British chef to have been awarded 3 Michelin stars, and the youngest chef in the world to receive them.

I had the sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked, but chips weren't very nice and lack of vegetables which was a shame.

We enjoyed our meal. All courses were delicious. Staff were friendly. Sanitisers were evident and all staff wore masks. We also had our temperatures taken. Every attempt was made to make our experience pleasurable at the same time ensuring Covid 19 procedures were in place and adhered to.

We started with the Whitebait, followed by Steak with a side order of Green Salad. 1 of us the vanilla cheescake the other had 2 scoops pf ice cream EVERY single element of our meal was perfect. Beautifully presented and cooked exactly to our liking. The dining room is stylish and we felt our table was at a safe distance to the other diners. The room was spotless as were the toilets. It was reassuring to have our temperatures taken before we entered the restaurant. There was santiser available on entry to the Hotel Indigo and also at the reception desk of the MPW restaurant. All of the waiting-on staff were friendly and courteous. This has been a superb dining experience in every way

Service very good. We chose steak dishes- absolutely delicious, French fries the best I have had for a long while. Tried Marco Pierre White lager as well- went well with the meals.

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant from arrival and to end. The food was high quality ingredients, tasty, delicious, and served within a suitable timeframe between courses. The fillet steak was perfect and the Marco Pierre red wine we ordered with the meal was superb.

Restaurant was very quiet when we first got there which was nice. We were seated in a lovely booth and got water to the table. We then ordered starters and mains which were lovely and filling. Due to COVID there was limited choice of starters and mains so we didn’t really have much of a choice which was guttering for us as we are big foodies and heard wonderful things about some of the things that weren’t on the menu for us.

The booking service was simple and easy to use. The restaurant was spotless and had a good atmosphere. Given the current climate the cleanliness and COVID guidance was followed to the T. The meal itself was exceptional, I could not fault it. My steak was cooked to perfection, there was also a good selection of wines. Jamie, our waiter was fantastic, a great evening with great customer service and great food. Thanks

Very poor for the price. Rib eye steak very tough. I struggled to cut it. My wife who is Thai was very disappointed. I won't be recommending this place.
