Sirloin was great, rib eye not so. But Couldn’t fault the wine selection and recommendation from waiter.

Delicious food, and good service from attentive friendly staff. We had Oli Cann taking our order, what a lovely friendly young man, a credit to the company.

Easy booking. Well laid out. Food and staff were brilliant. Expensive but definitely worth it as a treat

We were disappointed with the starters. You would expect homemade bread but what we got was a slice of brown bread from a shop bought loaf. The steak was delicious and cooked just right. The service was not what you’d expect from a high quality restaurant. It was really slow. I wouldn’t say that the restaurant was particularly busy either. Had to ask each time we wanted drinks to be refilled. Nice meal let down by poor service.

Mediocre is how I would describe the dining experience. The facility was good, frontline staff very good, food ok, not brilliant. The starters were fine, whitebait and a soup. The mains, Sirloin steak were poor. My wife’s steak was a very poor cut with very little meat and a lot of fat and sinew. Mine was asked to be cooked medium to well, presented rare with excess amount of blood. Food taken back and re-presented, but not what expected and made it a disappointing dining experience.

We did have to wait quite a long time to get our drinks order taken and for the whole meal we didn’t receive our water. But the food was very good! The bread and olives were lovely. We then tried the whitebait as we’d never tried it before and it’s was very fishy but enjoyable. I then had the butchers choice steak and chips which was fantastic, the steak was cooked to perfection and only had a little fat. My partner had mussels and absolutely loved them! The merlot was good too. A little bit annoyed by the start of our meal but the food was brilliant!

Drink order was very slow, portions were small, over-priced for what we got. Not impressed.
