Firstly, I would like to state that the ribeye steak I ordered was the best steak I have ever eaten. A shame it came alone with only a pot of chips. Some garnish or tomato would have been nice. I have to say I was very disappointed with the overall dining experience. We were sat next to a wall, I was facing a wall and a couple were eating very closely next to us on the next table. They were so close, they may as well have been on the same table. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant. Well not that I could see or feel. The lack of windows and layout made it feel really closed in. The staff were lacking in confidence and personality. Our bottle of wine was placed on our table, unopened. It was a screw top but it was a bottle of red wine. It was Pinot noir and was very nice. The bill came to £90 ish which I thought was steep considering the lack atmosphere and service. In fact, we took the rest of the wine home as we found the surrounding so unpleasant. Good job the bottle was served with with its top on!

We went for my daughters 13th birthday and had a wonderful time. We’ve visited a few times before with friends and colleagues, but this was the first time visiting as a family and it will not be the last. The food is excellent and the restaurant is very stylish but what makes this place so great is the staff! Nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly and attentive without being over the top, they made it a lovely birthday celebration and we all had such a great time.

food was good, nice and hot, and good service the only thing I was slightly disappointed with was we went on mothers day and had the set menu, I did state on booking we would need child portions for my 96yr old mother , although she had a small starter and dessert we were still charged the full price.

A wonder dining experience once again! I had the prawn cocktail to start which was delicious. My husband really enjoyed his charcuterie. We shared the Chateaubriand which was fabulous as per usual.
We finished with the burnt cream, delicious. This was accompanied by an excellent bottle of Malbec. The service was excellent and the waiter was both attentive and amusing. It was our birthday treat! We shall be back!
