The fried sea bass over cooked and I didn’t like the overall presentation. Another thing I noticed all the black people who had reservations were made to sit at the back of the restaurant. Not a nice thing is this the restaurant policy because it would make me think twice about booking at the mango tree again

Had a really lovely experience here at Mango Tree, the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious! Highly recommended... I remember in previous years it was a lot more luxury than what it is now, but still very enjoyable

It was okay however the staff linger around your table and keep asking you if you have finished your food as they want you to hurry and eat your food so they can have the table back quickly. So felt abit rushed especially as there was hardly anyone in the restaurant as we got there when it just opened.

After spending soo much time trying to find the name of this restaurant after seeing a post on Instagram who didn't tag them it wasn't what I expected. We went for the express menu which was different from the A La Carte menu as most items were not available on the a la carte menu. However, my issue was that I'm a peanut allergy sufferer and with most restaurants now the menu tells you what each dish includes with sometimes g for gluten-free v for vegan etc. Being an avid Thai/Chinese eater I already knew chicken satay was not an option for me but had already selected the dishes I wanted in mind before arrival. Upon arrival, our coats were taken and we were shown to our seats. During the order being taken, we had a few questions for the waiter in regards to the peanuts to which he was not knowledgable he had to keep going to ask someone. it took around 20-25 mins to place out an order as the menu was not specific enough in terms of its allergy contents. Low & behold the dishes I wanted I wasn't allowed due to the peanut content. However, in the ingredients list, there is no mention on peanuts not even on the a la carte menu. There is an N for nuts but it doesn't specify which kind. So after much discussion, I then ordered something I didn't particularly want but was given no option, no goodwill gesture or anything. Please check the menu and call to discuss in detail the particular dishes you'd like to eat BEFORE dining here otherwise it will waste your time if you're an allergy sufferer. presenation, decor and ambience is good.
