We had a very nice afternoon cocktail tea and they even gave my daughter a 21st birthday treat.

Good servuce and beautiful decor but food was of average quality. Afternoon tea had one item missing (seen at other tables and on website). Dissapointing.
10% charge afdrd at thr end for a table of two. Unnecessary .

We went to Malmaison for their set tea. I would have thought that for £17.50 plus vat they could at least have had china cups rather then very thick heavy ones. The wraps and the burger were delicious. They catered for my allergies which was very good of them. I did not like the runny trifle thing nor the heavy chocolate brownie. Good merengue

We had the afternoon tea - it was delicious. A mixture of savoury and sweet so all tastes were satisfied. The little extras were appreciated - smoothy, wide range of flavoured tea and trifles. The scones were still warm so incredibly fresh. Beautifully presented and given lots of time to enjoy it.

Nice food and good service. Had pre drinks in the garden at the back. All in all a very good experience.

Really nice place and very impressed with how much effort they had put into executing the presentation of the dining hall and individual tables. The food was lovely, however service was incredibly slow. We sat down at 2pm, didn't receive our tea until 3pm, and although a member of staff apologised to us for the wait when the food did come and promised the scones would be out in just a minute, I had to go and ask when we would be receiving them 45 minutes later. The scones themselves were delicious and warm, just a shame they were so small. In addition to this, the waitress couldn't tell us what the vegetarian options were so that further delayed everything.

The staff did adjust our bill due to us waiting so long which was appreciated, but it was a shame about all the delays as it was a treat for my mother for her birthday. In the two hours we were there, we saw many other tables arrive, sit, eat, and leave just whilst we were waiting for our food.

The champagne was delightful as well!
