Was a fantastic dining experience. We all really enjoyed it. The sweet potato, parsnip, coconut and cardamom soup was amazing, and a generous portion too. We had an abundance of roasties and veg served with the mains that we weren't expecting, so an added bonus, especially as the roast potatoes were sooo good. As they should be, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, with a beautiful flavour. The service was great too. The restaurant was busy but we were well looked after by our excellent, attentive and friendly waiter, Andrea. A lovely meal and definitely want to go back again soon.

Booked a table for 12:00 pm and they were not ready when we arrived and we waited at the bar for around 20 minutes before we noticed they started to seat other guests. Food was great but you have to make good choices. the “game” starter was the highlight of the meal. For entrees, the lamb was very very good and the chicken my friend ordered lacked flavour. desserts were just ok. Service was ok.

The restaurant was lovely, such a good, lively atmosphere. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming and chatted to us throughout the evening. The food was absolutely gorgeous and such a reasonable price! Would definitely recommend

Very nice indeed. Food beautiful, excellent attentive staff & the booking was simple. Beware though, when asked if you would like water say no as you are charged £4.50 for a bottle which is on the excessive side. The offer of £19.50 with 3 courses & Prosecco is great but again if you want an additional bottle of prosecco it's £40. All in all a very enjoyable afTrenton.

Excellent meal. Excellent Value. I had char grilled mackerel to start, summer stew as mains and chocolate truffle torte - all excellent. One of my companions ordered the ribs for her main but had to leave some it was that generous a portion(so she could have a chocolate torte) We have already recommended this to several colleagues. Staff were helpful, knew exactly which deal we were booked in for, very efficient & attentive

Whilst the food was excellent the booking system and menu displayed were a complete disaster. On arrival the menu we printed off was no longer in season and the price of the new menu had been upped in price. fortunately the staff did sort out and offer the price quoted on the deal but still got the final bill wrong !!. Cant complain about the food and surroundings they were excellent
