Great service and great food for affordable price

It was good value. Friendly service but we were persuaded to eat outdoors when we wanted to eat indoors. We disliked outdoors as it was quite cold and damp. Indoors looked really nice.

Its better not to go for Iftar here, the service you receive is poor.

Had a lovely lunch here with my daughter, out under the patio heaters watching the crowds and buskers on Leicester Square. The food was excellent - all very fresh and tasty with good portion sizes; the falafel were the best either of us had ever had and the Lebanese red wine I had was fabulous. The waiter couldn't have been more helpful or attentive and we also loved the 'rug coats' - abaya's - that they supply to keep you warm. Downsides were that on arrival I was made to feel uncomfortable for asking for the set Lunch menu that I had booked through Bookatable and we ended up eating from the A la carte, which was fine except that the waiter's recommendation for 3 dishes each was too much for us at lunchtime; we could easily have had 2 each and been perfectly satisfied. Also, their definition of a small glass of wine was far larger than I would have expected and we would have preferred smaller glasses at lunchtime (someone said afterwards that I could have specifically asked for 125ml). With the additional food, the higher prices of the a la carte and wine and the charge for the bottle of water (that we needed after our journey in) it ended up costing half as much again as I'd expected. So we would definitely eat there again but for lunch we would stick to the 3 courses for £19.95 and ask for 125ml glasses of wine!

Food was great however the service was very rushed, was afraid to ask for water and when i did they all forgot and i ended up getting it 30 mins later. Also the waiter didnt bring back my change and walked off quickly and i felt a little unwell so just get him have it but we also paid for service so wouldnt normally have given tip aswell.

Great food, good service, the only niggle was we were attracted to the offer of a free glass of champagne, it wasnt, it was prosecco. Small detail but not what was advertised. We also ordered a couple of glasses of sparkling rose, came with blackberry in it, wasnt my preffered way of enjoying the drink.

From the welcome at the door I can’t fault this restaurant. Fantastic food and wonderful service. The people were so great that even if I didn’t care for the food I would go back! We went for daughter’s birthday celebration. She is vegetarian and we are all meat eaters. There was a great choice of dishes- will definitely return.

As we sat outside under the heaters we were offered blankets ( Unique Arabic coats ) and teddy bears filled up with hot water , The front of house people makes us feel on top of the world with their kindness and knowledge about every dish we ordered,we had tabouleh, hommos Beiruty , falafel and fried kibe this was the perfect combo that they recommend for 2 of us for starter, then for mains we ordered the mixed grills and char grilled king prawns the taste of the food is out of this world , everything was grilled and marinated to perfection and the grilled kebabs and cubes were juicy and delicious..I will highly recommend to all my friends and colleagues to visit your restaurant
