First visit to this restaurant and I was impressed. Nice decor and furniture, clean and well presented. The waiter was very attentive and helpful with the recommendations. Loved the food, very tasty and just the right amount of spice. Will definitely book again and recommend to friends.

We had the Sunday buffet. We particularly enjoyed the channa masala and chicken dishes. The starters were also delicious. We ate so much we could hardly move. There was lots of choice so the children were able to eat plenty too. The service was excellent. Very friendly attentive staff. It was very good value. We paid £47 for 2 adults and 2 children which included 2 bottles of sparkling water and service.

The Prawn Puritan was beautiful with well balanced flavours. Howevery, mango coolie was too much. Needs a less sweet accompaniment.. Had mixed tandoori - chicken kebab texture disappointing. Felt and tasted like synthetic chicken. All main course portions appeared very small on this visit. For presentation- very. Good. Food was hot - Excellent.
Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen which is in open view on the way to the toilets. Considering they had only opened at 5.30pm the kitchen floor was grubby and needed cleaning. Higher standards of hygiene and safety needs to be maintained at all times. I notice things like this because of my own professional as an inspector of social care premises.
I would go there again but will note if any improvementsuggestions in this area.

Excellent Indian cuisine, where 'three chillies' really does mean hot and spicey. Extremely friendly, courteous staff and a very pleasant ambience to the restaurant. I tried the hottest of the lamb dishes which was both powerful and delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

The food at Madhuwan is always excellent and I love going there. I had aloo chana puri as my starter, a delicious dish of chickpeas and potatoes. For my main course I opted for something a little spicer than normal, the shimla duck massala. I found it spicy but not overpowering so that all the flavours were distinct. It was very nice. This was accompanied by plain rice and a murgh kulcha naan (naan bread stuffed with chicken tikka). The naan was probably a bit too much.

The restaurant was quiet but friendly. I plan to return many more times.
