Restaurant description

A high-end concept brought to you by the former MD of steak restaurant Gaucho and Le Gavroche chef Michael Reid, M Victoria is the second M opening, joining its hugely popular sister restaurant, M Threadneedle St. This award–winning grill restaurant was shortlisted as Best New Opening 2016 and won ‘Best Grill Restaurant - London’ 2018.

Offsetting its succulent grill cuts with a nutrient-bursting raw bar, the M restaurant menu focuses on supreme ingredients, cherry-picked from across the globe. Enjoy RAW specialities like tuna sashimi or kangaroo tartare, along with GRILL favourites like braised lamb, or a succulent Aberdeen Angus steak.

Head down to the basement-dwelling M bar to sample a host of signature cocktails and street food, where live arts and DJs conjure a high-octane vibe. The M restaurant group was bestowed with ‘Sommelier of the Year’ award from Harpers 2015.

Entered by a spectacular wine store, M restaurant Victoria is an ultra-slick drinking and dining emporium in London. Find Victoria Station a 6-minute walk away.

The bookatable brunch deal is amazing. Fantastic food and drinks were topped up constantly. Great service would come again!

The restaurant was intimate with a great environment, with tasteful decor. The staff were very attentive and the whole experience was fun. It was my daughter's birthday and she felt very spoilt by the staff who were looking after us

We had an excellent dinner here. The Ford was really good and they brought a surprise cake for my mums birthday.

The Cocktail bar was fun and full of new concoctions, the restaurant nicely put together and the round booths were very luxurious. We had the surf and turf deal with champagne - I booked for three people, and we were only served one steak and 1/2 lobster (presumably because one of my party was under age, however she is old enough to eat like an adult and we could have drunk her champagne - or not had it! There was no discussion on this whatsoever). Disappointingly the seafood was overcooked and the steak fine but nothing to rave about. Th best elements of the meal by far were the starters. If going here again I'd definitely order a la carte - but I'm highly unlikely to visit again as the experience simply wasn't compelling enough when there is so much other great choice available.

My friend and I were seated at a lovely booth for our visit on Friday evening. We were there on a deal but added various things to it and we were very happy with the food, drinks and the service. Lovely steak and lobster, delightful crab starters and really good desert and cheese from Neil's Yard Dairy. Staff were attentive, friendly and seemed really interested in what we thought of our dining experience.

Having dined at M several times, and had excellent food, this was not one of their best menus. It was average this time. On all previous visits the restaurant has always been packed and buzzing, it was empty. Is this a sign of the economy or that M hasn't moved with the times to make a better offer than other establishments. With so much competition of restaurants diners have so much choice. Not the best experience from M this time.
